Semi OT Virtual Supermodels

I saw an article on the Washington Post website about Virtual SuperModels.  There is a vitual supermodel named Shudu that was mentioned in the Washington post article.  I did find this article that does not require subscription to read.

For discussion, What do you think of the idea of a virtual SuperModel?  Do you think that Victoria and her friends can be a supermodel like Shudu?

Umm, yes, I would say without a doubt Genesis 8 could be used for this. Shudu is a genesis 8 character created by Karuki. There is a thread about it here: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/232001/my-interview-with-harper-s-bazaar-world-s-first-digital-supermodel

No, not really. The clothing can not be cheaply converted to digital format and look like the clothing in photographs. Besides, models need to show up on the runway and virtual models can't do that. It would save them lots of money but that isn't an industry hurting for money. There are sales in tongues wagging about real life models, the kind of tongue wagging that will never happen with virtual models except by tech enthusiasts.

More realistic use would be virtual changing rooms using 3D scans of one's self and virtual clothing. Stores would love to avoid all those clothing returns and send already huge profits though the stratosphere.
