GIFT CARD CODE ERROR
I bought a “gift” card for myself to get the savings but was emailed a bogus number (one that the redeem page says is, anyway). I submitted a help ticket yesterday but still no responce. Any DAZ rep out there who can help? Thank you.

I'm not a Daz employee, but frequently Daz sends two emails, one with a bad code and one with a good code. (I assume that is a bug in their store processing.) Check and see if you got a second email message. Maybe it has the good code.

You might have gotten two codes in your email. If one doesn't work, the other will.

Check to make sure you haven't got a second email with another code. That usually seems to happen for some reason. The second one is the one that works.

Also, what if DAZ fixed their system, I mean, I know nothing of these things but how hard could it be?
When the gift card code DOES work correctly, you get no feedback that it worked. You have to check your store credit to see that the gift code amount was added. Is it possible that it worked the first time, but because you got no positive feedback, you tried again, and then it was invalid because you had already redeemed it? Check the Store Credit section of your account and see if it was already added to your account.
If that doesn't work, I guess you'll need to wait a day or two for customer service to handle the problem.
I have 100% confidence that they will be able to fix the problem. Daz customer service is excellent.
I got two emails with different codes today. Did you check your spam folder? Getting two almost identical emails at the same time might be all it takes to get them marked as spam.
I did not check there. I will now. But I still think this is too cumbersome a process for what should be a simple purchase.
Hi OP. I checked for spam. No gift card second but ODDly, I thought, a Dwayne8 email was in there.
I have found that when I use PayPal to pay for the Gift Card, I get emailed two codes (one bogus and one that works). I just purchased to Gift Cards today using credit cards directly and did not have the duplicate/bogus code problem.

wouldn’t it be great if the Gift Card page directed you to the Store Credit page when they DO give you a valid number?

Also check that there are no spaces before or after the code when you paste it in (by default there usually is a space after the code if you copy/paste from the email).
To find someone at Daz to help you you need to file a help ticket. In the meantime Your multiple threads have been merged, as they all had response and your bump posts have been removed
