been searching..cant find. I've found a couple of forum posts..but what it says and what I swee in the surface taB ARE DIFFERENT.
anyway, i'm not making any headway applying LIE tattoos. The prodcut does not ocme with instructions and I guess just assumes I am knowledgable in how to do this.

Product page says it comes with presets... did you double click a preset with the character selected?

To access the layer Image editor go into the surfaces tab and select the surface you want to edit. Click the little gear icon to the far right on the texture slot you want to edit. When the parameters windows opens, then select the texture and other options will show up.Click Layered Image Editor as in the image

Surprised this product doesn't just apply the tattoos like many other LIE tattoo products like the Inked series

yes.. tried with just charcacter, then with surfaces tab and surface selected..then dragged and dropped.. it applied layers which I could see in L.I.E..once I fugured out how to open that, but even then, nothing shows in the render.

thanks ... and even in LIE, I can see the layers that were added, but they are not showinhg up in render. I tried manually as well, plugging the file into different area of the huge surfaces thing..nothing.

Presets mean you should be able to load them to the figure just by clicking on the thumbnails. That's how the other ones I have work.  Odd. Going through all that fuss to load a tattoo is a pass.  This is one of the sets I own showing how I just clicked and it applies. Others are from different sets, but they all apply in the same manner.

yes, its very odd. I just applied one from Inked series, and it loaded right up, although in the render it is very very light. I think I'm just going to start a new scene from scratch to see what happens.
