My Library duplicate in C:
I'm used to keep all My Library contents in an external drive, as to easily have all my stuff at hand with different PCs.
Yesterday evening, during a maintenance session on my drive C:, I noticed a folder:
C:\USERS\PUBLIC\PUBLIC DOCUMENTS\MY DAZ 3D LIBRARY
where some of my contents seems to have been duplicated.
There are more or less all the main folders typical of My Lybrary: data, environments, people, runtime, shader presets etc. etc.
I checked some of them and it seems that the content is the same I already have in my main My Library. Not it all, just some pieces of it. I didn't checked it all, though.
Do you think that I can cancel the duplicated contents from C:, or does DAZ Studio created them for some specific purposes?
Thanks in advance.

The Public Documents\My Daz 3D Library folder is the default location that is created when you installed Daz Studio; the basic content that comes with Studio would have been installed there. As for whether it can be deleted or not...
First, make sure that it isn't mapped as a Content Directory within Studio.
Second, if you use the Daz Install Manager, make sure that folder isn't mapped as a location that DIM is expecting to install content to.
Last, before you delete it, I would rename it and try loading some older scene files to see if you get any "missing file" warnings. That will save you headaches if you ever go back to those scenes in the future and find out that some of the content in the scene was referencing geometry or texture files from the Public library folder.
Very wise piece of advice.
I'll follow it. Thank you. :)
or
before delete C user library, just "copy all" inside the C:user libray to the other external used library,,
you lost nothing
