I need one to use, but don't feel like re-installing Bryce for the one I can use from there, much less sculpt one. Anyone got any leads for a city in space size station?

I like this one. It is available at Renderosity. It is huge with lots of detail and it is pretty easy to convert it to Iray materials if you want to.

This freebie has an obj file as well as Bryce: http://www.sharecg.com/v/61238/related/5/3D-Model/Space-Station
There is also this paid construction kit: https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/space-station-construction-kit/84433
You could try this;

Same station but a lot less expensive without the extended license: https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/allied-fleets-research-station---poser-obj-3ds-max/92973/
wishlisted a LOT of theit stuff
Oops. You are right, I picked the wrong link. Thanks
for the update.

https://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/space-station-obj-free/702873 is free, but it lacks textures, so that's a fair amount of work (unless using an art shader, heh)
Thanksall.VERY usueful replies
That looks great but way too expensive.
That's better.

Wishlist it and wait: it periodically goes on sale, sometimes at quite large discounts.
Speaking of discounts, if you were to, say, search Renderosity for 'space station' today (August 15), you might see that some other space stations are on sale.
Meanwhile at home, DAZ offers the International Space Station, which might not be as big as you want, but could possibly be kit-bashed. There's also DZFire's FAB116 asteroid base.
More economically -- if you're a PC+ member -- you might look at Ensk Outpost and Ensk Station. These are ground-based structures, but you could quite easily use them as building blocks for a space station.
If you want to build your own, I can recommend DZFire's Nurnies Greebles Parts and Pieces for dressing up simple models to make them look more complex. You could start with a few primitives or a simple model, then apply greebles until you have something that looks rather more impressive (which is what I did in this image and this one).
Looks good with a shader applied !!!!
I put the less expensive version on my wish list. I really like that model, so I'll pick it up eventually.
I have one of DZFire's Greeble packs. I've used them here and there, but I really need to sit down and do some major work with them. Kitbashing a space station sounds like a good project to use them for.
The 'less expensive version' is probably all you need. The one that's priced at $105 is for the model with an 'Extended License', which is loosely equivalent to DAZ's Interactive License. The Extended License is intended for people who want to use a product commercially, put it in a game, or whatever. If you're just planning to use it to render your own images or video, you almost certainly don't need it.
Generally, if you see something at Renderosity that looks really expensive, click on it to check that it's not the Extended License version. Unlike DAZ, who have a checkbox on the product page to let you get the Interactive License, Renderosity tends to list the products twice: once for the standard version, and once for the version with the Extended License. It's the same identical product in each case; the only difference is what you can do with it.
The space station and other models by that creator are still quite expensive, but I've seen them marked down to 50% off. Even with that discount, they're still not cheap, but they are very big, very detailed models.
The greebles work well as does searching for "space station textures" and do not forget NASA.gov and its models and textures available for free and commercial use in many circumstances!
