I've made a product suggestion here before: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/267431/upper-and-lower-part-expression-creator#latest
Has anyone tried this product yet? https://www.daz3d.com/genesis-8-female-xprssnmagic
I haven't found a thread from the vendor in this forum.
I'm wondering if it would let me zero certain parts of an expression even when I don't use the expressions that seem to come with this product?
Like if I had the expression "Smile HD" applied that comes with G8F, could I zero the mouth with this product then or adjust it with this?

I have it in my cart but haven't pulled the trigger yet. I was also waiting to see how ppl liked it and how versatile it really is. I also have Big Expressive Pack in my cart because it's a Fast Grab. It's got 69 expressions and seems to look ok on different G8F characters. Guess once I buy them I'll find out. Good thing about that 30 day return policy.
Hi, I’m the creator of the XprssnMagic products. Thanks for your interest!
I made the first one because I had saved a lot of expressions and was tired of searching through my pose libraries to find the one I needed, then not being able to see details on the thumbnails or figure out what the names meant.
By programming a little external application I could quickly scan through larger renders of the eyes and mouth portions of an xprssn and mix and match them.
Over the years I’ve added features like a side view, a button to toggle between a combo and the neutral face position, and more recently, an optional screen to add neck bend, twist and/or tilt to an xprssn.
Because the full face expressions, such as Smile HD, interfere with the individual eye and mouth dial settings I use, those dials are automatically set to zero when you paste in an xprssn.
You can choose the Eyes No Change or Mouth No Change and just export the other half of an xprssn, when you just want to change that half of the face, without changing the other.
The Neutral Eyes and Neutral Mouth will zero out any settings on the dials that effect the upper or lower face (Brows Up, Lips Part, etc.). So any other poses you have applied that use those dials will be selectively neutralized. But any custom morphs will not be changed. So it depends if the creator of the pose expression only used the figure’s standard morphs or others.
And, of course, once you’ve auditioned an xprssn combo in an XprssnMagic and applied it to a figure, you can always tweak the dial settings as you like.
Hope this answers your questions. Be sure to check the User Guide for more details and suggestions.
Have fun! Elisa/gryffnn
So is it just the eyes and mouth?
And, since Genesis 3, an optional screen to add on bend, tilt and/or twist for the neck at the same time as your eyes-mouth combo xprssn.
I love this utility. Thanks.
Your guide is is awesome. Thanks. :)
