Exporting from substance painter to Daz flow question

Hi! I am trying out substance painter, so far I find it really impressive, but I am having issues when exporting to Daz. The main "issue" I have is that I can't find a way to import to Daz automatically without having to set the maps for each surface individually. My model has lots of different surfaces and for each one sp creates 5 different uv's. Is there any way to export from sp to Daz without having to manually set the uv's for each surface? Can anyone point me out on the right way to export from sp to Daz iray? I am quite new at all this and I have the feeling I might be doing something wrong. Thanks in advance,

What you're doing is how it's done. What you can do is select all like surfaces that use the same uv maps (hold down ctrl while clicking them in the surfaces pane), if any, and add those at one time.

  • It would be nice to export a Daz material out of Painter but currently there isn't any way.

If all your surfaces can fit on one map then save out a separate model with everything grouped into one model.  Then you can paint using only one map in painter.  If there are overlaps in uv's then you do want to keep those surfaces separate.

  • Thank you very much to both for the suggestions, I will definitely implement them and continue investigating!
