Orestes Iray HDRI Skydomes

Okay, stupid question time. Are the Orestes Iray HDRI Sky domes actually skydomes, or are they Environment Maps? The title seems to pretty clearly say "Yes", but I'd like to be sure before I pull the trigger on one. Also, if they are skydomes, can they be used as images for the Environment Map if I'm feeling lazy?

    They are HDRI images, there is no geometry... so technically they are not skydomes.

    So it shows a dome of the sky, but it is not a Skydome(tm), complete with a geometric object in my Scene.  Thank you!

    Skydome is not a "correct" term to use with Iray. All HDRIs are environment maps eith lighting. Some have images, some don't.
