Can't find content

Hi,

My install lets me open .duf files but it can't find any of the content of the older .daz files.

It then tells me to set my content directories using the Content Manager.

Anyone any idea why this happening and can you give me some advice

I'm using DAZ Studio 4.10 Pro.

    Are these old .daz scene files that you created with an earlier version of Daz Studio, or are they .daz files that are props in purchased products?

    Are you using the system the .daz files were created on? If not, do you hae a back up of the data folder from the first Daz Studo content directory?

    Hi folks,

    Yes these are files that I created using earlier versions of the Studio.

    Richard, I was able to open the files using DAZ Studio 4.9 but this newer version doesn't. I do have a copy of the data file dated late 2016.

    Originally of course I used a 32bit system but I'm running a 64bit one. Most of the files were created using the older system.

    I have had issues with .daz files. If you still havea  copy of an older version of DS 4.5+ it may be worth temporarily installing that, opening the files, and resaving them.
