hello everyone. i miss all the freebies from runtimdna.com ....
i wish i could still get a hold of the free rdna lights, and v3 clothes and props. all gone..... plus i managed to delete all the things i had saved and purchased!...
help??

Unfortunately if you do not have back-ups only the original creator, if they retained rights, could provide the missing files.
Remember alot of this was transfered over if your names on both services matched. Look in your product library. They usually have "Order: Manually Added" instead of an order number which makes them kind of hard to find.
ok.. i dont have the same username as in runtimedna.... so all the things that were fre, are gone. i also see the things like, atmospherics , harvest fruits, cost money now :( :(
but always hoping they will become free, for halloween ^^
AFAIR it was the email address used, not the user name, that had to be the same. And only purchased items, not frebies were transfered, AFAIR.
If you go to the RuntimeDNA store here at DAZ and it says like "3444 items of 3444" when "Hide Items I Own" is checked none of your purchased items have been transfered. If the numbers differ, it means that either your items have been transfered, or you have purchased some RDNA items here at DAZ, or both.
But if you have copies of the receipts for your purchased RDNA products there is a possibility that DAZ may add them to your library.
Yes I'm pretty sure the email address had to match. However, (at least for me) the items that you had "purchased' as free at RDNA (and therefore were in your RDNA order history) were added to your DAZ account. Of course other freebies such as the forum freebies that were just straight downloads and therefore not in your purchase history were not added to your DAZ account; but most of those either didn't come to the DAZ store or if they did were made free at DAZ.
i have a lot of stuff purchased at RDNA that do not show that here in the store. Not sure aobut free stuff. Prior to RDNA closing down, someone posted a program to download all of the content you had in your account. I took advantage of that ...
I miss RDNA btw. It was my favorite Poser/DAZ site.
Looks like you're right about the "purchased" freebies - I found a couple in my own DAZ library. Don't recall which I had, it was only a few, but I assume the others are there too, then.
my username and email, not the same.....so no way for me to re download ... i backed it all up on a HD and a usb stick. but Gone :( :(

A lot of the RDNA stuff, like the TransPond sets, never migrated to the DAZ store, nor to the DAZ download history. Fortunately I still have all my backup files....
try opening a Sales Support ticket with the details you used for your RDNA account. However, that won't help with things that were free for all rather than added to your account after a purchase.
The same with Aeon Soul's items. So there are quite a few sets that disappeared with RDNA and if you didn't back them up before RDNA closed, there is no way to get them now.
if i ever get enough money, i will buy myself a new external drive, and triple back up everything ^^
backing up is most difficult. there is no sure fire way that anything will remain. All subject to deletion, mechanical failure, and time. Most of the CDs and DVDs I used years ago do not work anymore. I've had external HD failures. Memory sticks don't always work. Its a crapshoot.
