How to install content manually to Daz 3D
I currently have installed Daz Studio 4.10 . I'm trying to manually install some content.
The content I have has this file structure:
Content
--- data
--- People
--- Runtime
Manifest.dsx
Supplement.dsx
I have taken the "Content" folder and placed it in two places.
MyLibrary & My DAZ 3D Library. For some reason I have two folders pointing to two different locations that appear in my Content Libary so I put them there just to be sure.
The items appear in the Content Library but when I click on them I get an error that tells me to check logs.
When i check logs I see this:
2018-08-09 11:41:20.939 Invalid node selection for "preset_material" type.
2018-08-09 11:41:20.942 Error reading file, see log for more details.
I can't figure out if I'm putting in the wrong folder or what I'm doing wrong. Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

The folders from the Content folder in the zip go in one of your content directories - the actual "content" folder is not needed or wanted.
I have an idea. Create a NEW content folder so you can play with manually installing without messing up your current folders. Just add it under the DAZ 3D folder that has your other content, and add the subfolder under Edit->Preferences. You have the option of adding a Daz asset folder (the kind you're wanting) or a Poser runtime folder. You do not need to add the same folder under Poser as well.
Do you can experiment with merging content into a content folder, and if you make a mistake, you've not wrecked important stuff. You'll soon get the hang of it, and you can install your new content to any asset folder you want.
Just to throw it out, I have maybe four dozen asset folders, to keep things more separated and logical. They're just listed in the Content directory in their own folders. D|S can easily handle far more.

I missed replying on the error\:
Invalid node selection for "preset_material" type.
indicates that you had no, or the wrong, item selected when applying a preset. Most presets do not load models, they modify models that are loaded and selected
