My Daz Library folder became invisible! How do I make it visible again? The contents is still there, just in an invisible folder. Windows 10.

Invisible in Daz Studio or in Windows File Explorer? It is not clear when you say "the contents are still there". Still where, exactly?
Invisible on my external drive. have to search for a product and move up the ladder to get to the Daz Library folder. It completely disappeared from my external hard drive but the contents are available to work in DS and DIM works but I can't see the folder anymore. It's invisible.
In Studio, if you right-click on a product file (figure, pose, material, etc.), one of the items in the pop-up menu is "Browse to File Location". If the contents still exist, this will open a File Explorer window at that file's real location.
Yes, but the entire folder is invisible on my hard drive. I want it to be visible. I can do tricks to get in there, but there must be a way to make the folder visible again. All other folders are visible. I don't know how it became invisible or how to restore it....
Did you try enabling Show Hidden Files and Folders as I suggested in Novica's thread?
Where is that in Windows?
Oh I found it n the control panel! Yay! How on earth did it get hidden in the first place???
Because if you have W10 Home, that's the default. Microsoft does that so that people who don't have experience with the file structure of a Windows system can't accidentally delete something important.
It's stupid, but that what they do. And be aware if Windows downloads any updates you'll probably have to re-un hide the folder again.
Well, fair enough, but the Content Library folder shouldn't have been hidden in the first place. Best to remove the Hidden attribute and leave the Hidden files hidden, unless, as mentioned, you know what you are doing.
