Just purchased The Complete Guide to Texturing Clothing - Bundle by Esha and to my utter disappointment, the entire tutorial has music in the background. Not only that, but the presenter speaks in such a low little voice that you have to turn up the volume thereby turning up the volume of the stupid music. I went to high school, I went to to college. I even have a Masters degree in Public Administration. Not one class did I take have music in the background. I don't know anyone that finds this music helpful. I have been wanting this tutorial for a long time and will have to return it because I really find the music distracting.

Oh that's disappointing. I had that bundle in my wishlist for quite a while, but I think I'll avoid it if the music is that bad. Thanks for the warning!
I was going to buy it, but I shall not, I can not deal with music when trying to follow a tutorial.
The music did not distract me, but I haven't finished all the tutorials yet. So far, the content has been helpful, and the videos have provided information I was not easily able to find elsewhere.
Since DAZ has a 30-day return policy, no reason not to check it out yourself and see if the music makes it such that you can't get through the content.
The music is not bad, it's just that there is music at all!
I will try it but since I have to use headphones, I really fear that I will quickly tire of the music, but I really love Esha so hopefully I can get past it.
I only found the music distracting in the intro and close of each video as it gets very loud at those points, and sometimes over rides her voice, but the information is really well done and worth putting up with the bad music.
seems to be trending to have music in tutorials nowadays
i personally hate it
especially if its a good tutorial
I agree a tutorial does not need music and the creator should speak in a loud clear voice.
Hi, sorry to hear you're disappointed, but it seems you only watched a tiny bit of the tutorial. The music is only present during the intro of each chapter, for the first 90 seconds or so, and during the summary at the end for the last few seconds. If it really annoys you you can easily skip the intro or the summary without missing anything vital, since the intro only gives a summary about what will be covered or has been covered in this particular video.
The included pdf file gives you precises time indicators so, if you decide to skip the intro, you can jump right to the part where the actual tutorial starts.
The only other occasion where music is used are the timelapses when a lengthy process is shown in "fast forward" mode. But that is just for watching, without any spoken text added.
I'm surprised that you're having problems with the volume, as the videos have been edited by a professional, and they've been in the store for quite a while now and a lot of people bought them and that's the first complaint I hear about the volume...
.
You're very welcome
Wow, that's very professional of you esha.
I'm rather impressed with your response. Note taken.
