Heavy Motorcycle Road Cruiser is back!

It disappeared from the store a while ago, but now it's back.
Buy it while you can.

But *sigh*... It's still mirrored, that is, the controls are on the
wrong side. Brake pedal on the left, shifter on the right.

Can you set scale to -100% in the appropriate axis to flip the model around?

Had it in my wishlist for quite a while and I didn't notice it disappearing... and I rather wait until it's on a better sale again, like it was already a couple times during the last 12 months...

I can confirm that it looks fine scaled at -100 but the gauge and plate and some of the controls will need to be flipped on the image map.

It must have been made in the UK prior to 1975 ;)

Yeah, I'd hoped they'd pulled it to fix it, but nope...
And it looks like it has two throttles.
Pity that such a fantastic model has such inexplicable flaws.
But as a different PA once said (paraphrasing):
"If people ain't returning it, I'm not wasting time fixing it!"
So I just stopped buying from that PA.

Well you have to think the vendor was looking at a motorcycle or a picture of one at least when they created it so the reversed controls from 'standard' are puzzling.

Fair enough. I can't blame you for not wanting to spend money on something that isn't what it should be. My biggest problem is buying rooms or buildings and finding out the doors don't open(or sometimes it has no doors). But I usually don't return them because that's something I should have seen before I bought it. Now that my money situation has tightened up a bit, I look at everything a lot more closely before buying.

I don't feel comfortable critizing a modeler, since they're doing something I have no skill at, but this cruiser does have a number of problems that a rider would notice.  Like you said, the vendor was probably working from pictures.  But they may not have had personal experience with motorcycles (shock!  I expect all vendors to know their tech inside and out!  Especially starship engineering and magical staves...).  For someone just doing a piece of art that includes a motorcycle, most of them won't be too bad (except the reversed logo on one side of the gas tank).  But yeah, if you ride bikes at all, some of these can be really distracting.

EDIT: Okay, one of my problems just went away when I looked into it.  Not sure why you'd want that thumb control setup, but whatever.  The low resolution on the buttons makes it hard to work out what they do or if they're wrong or not.  Tank logo is still backwards, though.

I'm getting used to fixing doors with C3D's create-a-room packs.
What really bugs me is a room where all of the walls are one piece, so I
can't hide one to get a better camera angle. Rooms like that are almost
useless unless you want to spend a lot of time with the geometry editor.
My time is more valuable to me than the PA's is, and Studio is inefficient
    enough as it is.

I can't build a car, but if I buy one that has design errors, I'll criticize the designer, all right.
Not aimed at you, just a general snipe:
"If you think you can do it better..."
No, but I can certainly see where you could!

    @LosingSignal "I don't feel comfortable critizing a modeler"

Crafts people don't get better without feedback.

Point being, even a cursory Internet review of Motorcycle images would show control layouts. Reversed tank logos is just lazy/rushed production, This is a real world item, not fantasy, sci-fi.
