re-coloring daz hatchling? is for tattoo i'm going for.
trying to make it harmonize with the colors of my other tattoos.
Hello,
I'm going to a tattoo place with this image.
I tried to ungreen the dragon into blue hues.
and i took the flutterby wings from a different image.
request help with harmonizing these colors,
and making it easier for the tattoo artist to reproduce in tattoo colors.
it's all going on the same area.
TY for any help with this.

With custom art how I have always done it is bring in the image i want and the color palette/sample i am looking for, talk it over with the artist and get pricing and then emailed the image to them and waited until they got back to me with their mockup of the drawing/coloring. They are artists and should be able to harmonize the colors easily. Being that its permanent you def want to make sure they understand what you are looking for and they should be willing to work with you to do that, most will require a deposit of some sort though so their work isnt wasted but it should apply towards the final cost of the tattoo.
Here are a few -I just ran them through a couple of filters, I'm sorry I don't have more time to spend on it but I'm falling asleep at my keyboard. lol I don't know if you'll like any of these or if they are any better, but thought I'd post them real quick in case you found any of them helpful.

If your tattoo artist isn't able to give you a harmonized version of the image, ahead of the tattoing change the tattoo artist. As Silver said they are supposed to work with you and understand what you want. You might have to pay a dollar to two more but its for life, it should be exactly what yuo want.
thank you for the help
T day is tomorrow evening.
tad nervous.
he's doing 5 sets of the flutter wings.
dunno if i'll be in shape for faerie dragon on same visit >.< they open til 10pm, mebbe
Post a photo when its done, curious how it turns out. (Unless its on a 'private' spot)
Any tattoo artist worth his/her salt should be able to customize it to whatever you are looking for. They do have experience in stuff like Photoshop etc.. I primarily don't do colored tattoo's. I like them all black and gray or black and white. I'm working on a sleeve atm.Got about a quarter of my one arm don't with 3 big tattoo's.
i told the tattoo artist i'm fairy, black ink would break my mystic connection to the fey.
to give him credit, he didnt like roll his eyes at me. just seemed to accept it. lol
another 12 hours i should be on my way home, with some extra color.
then the excitement is over, i'll need something else to be excited about afterward.
Here we have to drop the artwork off then they set you up with an appointment to get it done once you approve the finished drawing
i;m inked. i like it
he put lil drop shadows on em. left space on leg for fey dragon.
took 3 hours to do the 5.
i really like the gold 1. too bad isnt posable lol.
nuthin wrong with 2 dragon tatts
arm and a leg
other dragon and flowers cant stop thinkin about. would take the nubs off the wings
liking both flowers,
cant imagine how to bring these together
a dragon peeking cutely over my shpulder
vine of blooms wrap around my arm
a few more strategic flutterbys
think the dragons be cuter with closed eyes?
tattooist said to leave the white area plain skin,
no white ink?
think i'd rather color the white something else.
thinkin of going with the hatchling as a sleeping dragon tattoo

but not the color
i went with the yellow and the blue flutter wings.
somehows colors coordinates the hatchling?
half the dragon angst is over
next is the hatchling
wow! really nice
ty still a bit stingy. people in dr waiting room were checking it out and smiling
feels nice to patients smiling.
still dreaming up a baby hatchling tattoo
thinking instead just sleeping, do a crying hatchling with tears dripping down my shoulder
dunno. would like to see how white ink would look on my skin. negative space would look strange i think
tattoo artist sent my pic finally.
next to concentrate on hatchling. might go with the sea hatchling, too cute

Cute and colorful. :) Did you change your mind about the leg? Or saving that spot for something else?
