Need a Necklace

Has anyone ever seen a 3D necklace similar to the pictures I've attached? I need something like this for a character who figures in a story I'm working on, and the necklace has a significance to the character's story. I've looked high and low, but I can't find anything like this. It doesn't have to have a fancy clasp like the one on the right. In fact, a string tie would be better, but I'm being too specific, I'm sure. If anyone has an idea where I can find something like this, I'd appreciate it.

    What about using a shader on a pearl necklace or something similar?

    Could you triple the fat necklace here, and apply some shaders to get your desired colour?

    That type of necklace is called a torsade. I have never looked inside the store for one so a search is worthwhile.  If I had to take it, I would search the store for a torc, without and position it, apply a red glass shader or gem shader, and maybe up the displacement.
