    Well, credit where credit is due: considering previous offerings, this is a fairly diverse character, in that she's not a tarted up supermodel Barbie doll and actually looks like an elderly woman. And Chiyo for Mabel 8 is a lovely character as well, so props for releasing an ethnic character as an add-on alongside the main release: she's gorgeous. 

    Unfortunately, pay day for me isn't for another couple of days, so I'll have to wait on this one. But she's def. on my short list for sure.

    She's great, and in my cart now. Great job, DAZ and PAs! I love Floyd and am happy to have a counterpart for him!

    Chiyo looks great i just dont get the clothing choice in some of the promo pictures. It realy degrades a great looking character.

    Got the Pro Bundle and three add-ons in my cart plus three free bundles but the free bundles aren't showing as free.

    Same here. I was about to purchase when the bundles I had picked out went to full price and my cart jumped from $65 to $231. Now I'm so disgusted I'm about ready to dump everything and shop elsewhere.

    y'know, V8 is over a year old....if her pro and maybe one of the others had been in there, I would have been more tempted. But with only older ones there (I'm buying a G8 character, why on earth would I want a V4 bundle??), and the removal of the ones that weren't supposed to be there (they were PA's one and it seems it's only DO ones) I've saved myself over 90 bucks to spend elsewhere, real or digital.

    I was surprised to see the non-Daz bundles in the free bundle area when it first came online, but it clearly was a mistake. Hardly something to be upset about.

    I already have Edie for witches. In that regard, I don't need another oldster. Oldster clothing isn't very exciting either, but it would be strange to get the miniskirt and bikini kind of outfits on this shape.

    I'm more interested in seeing how Mabel blends with Penny, who is the prettiest one in the generation so far IMHO. It's the intermediate usage that is more interesting and more like how I actually use these core figures.

    Ah, that exains why the Skin Shading Bundle was still showing as full price. I'll wait until Mabel pro bundle is on sale for $37 ;-)

    Decided to ditch the freebies after reading another thread about how messed up they are and just get Pro and three add-ons, still big savings.

    I was damned freaky lucky then

    I tossed her Pro, 2 addons and two not DO bundles into cart as soon as I saw that extra 20% message

    when it went to paypal it jumped to 181USD so I cancelled, refreshed my cart and tried again and went through for 67.16 USD

    so thought no more of it just a glitch going to paypal

    then I see all the posts here blush

I still buy them on occasion, of course, because I do a lot of rendering for my artwork, but usually I wait until everything is heavily discounted on the Daz Originals stuff as a result.

    The pro bundles are showing full price for me. I’d like to checkout before work so I can download but I guess not.

    Looks fine for me. Maybe you log out and in again on the store page, and see if it sorts itself out?

    I already sad this in another thread, but DAZ2D can only give away PA items/Bundles for free with the permission of that PA. They would have to negotiate a compensation with the PAs if they want to give away PA content for free. They are of course free to do it with the content that they (DAZ3D) own, because they purchased the full rights from the PA.

    But with a regular back catalogue item, i.e. a bundle... honestly, I really don't see that happen, as cool as that would be.

    Which of course sucks if you already have a lot of the items, but you do at least get additional % off recently, which is a lot better than it was before, when you got zilch.

    It's marketing unfortunately. I feel the same way about a hair or clothing addon that sells additional textures seperately. Luckily that is what photoshop is useful for, making new textures, Besides, some users don't/can't use the HD morphs so seperate works for them.

    I think it's because Elegant Bun is already included in the Pro Bundle and not specifically in the 'Add Ons' section of the page. Try removing that and adding one of the ones in the 'Add On' section.

    I wasn’t interested at first because I pretty much never say, “let’s render an old white lady...” but then I realized I really wanted to see Wasteland Momma on a 9yo... and a lot of the other content would probably work for a kid... 

    And also... I still don’t have Mei Lin 7 because I was going to wait until ML8 came out (remember when the only bonus bundles you got were older ones in the same line? Yeah) and I keep worrying they’re going to stop offering old Pro bundles soon....

    Thanks. :) Clothing textures don't bother me as much if they really add something new. I would never buy additional hair or outfit colors, because yeah I can do that in Photoshop. But as I said the HD stuff bugs me because I need everything as photo-realistic as possible. I was just hoping that I wasn't the only one who felt a bit used by this practice. :D
