ISO hatching egg

I am looking for an egg that can hatch and crack.  I am wanting to do a series of renders of an egg hatching.

    There was a product in the store called Hatching Egg; but it appears to have been removed now. Maybe you have it in your product library.

    It does not apear to work in DS.

    Was the motherhood one used to be at Daz?  too bad the fantasy eggs are no longer on sale, but they can go into my wishlist.

    The  problem with Hatching Egg is the welded mesh. It will work fine in DS3, Carrara, and Poser but because of the way DS 4 handles the welded mesh it needs to be broken to work in DS 4.

    Yes, I think Song Bird Remix Motherhood may have been previously sold at DAZ.

    Here is a quick test of Hatcing Egg in DS 4.10. It was first opened in DS 3 and the object exported at 1% scale. The exported object was then used to replace the original obj in the Geometries folder.

    I found the Song Bird Remix Motherhood in my library and it has the same problem with the mesh as the hatching egg in DS4.11.

    I just cheated and used opacity with the broken egg, using 2 eggs. One for the main egg and one for the pieces.

    Too bad it has pulled from the catalog.
