You did actually have a response in the NU forum, although that one was really in the wrong place, as this is not a New User type of job you are advertising.

I just checked the Daz3d inbox but don't see anything. Does it take a while for messages to show up?

You need to go to the forum message inbox.

Click the small gear in the top-right corner of the screen, and select "Inbox" from the bottom half of the listing that pops up.

What the timeline for the work?  How fast are you expecting the 12 card images to be competed?  And is the artist working from written descriptions or board/concept art ?

Don't be surprised if your collaborator don't have all the product needed to make the images you want.

Hi are you paying for the models and environments that will be needed on top of the fee you have offered.because it is unlikely the artist will have exactly the models you want to use

Job: I need someone who is willing to make 2d rendered scenes using 3d models/assets from Poser of Daz3d.

I am creating a card game and am looking for varying figures to be set in various scenes--and have 2d rendered pictures taken to be put on my cards. I'm hoping I can find someone to help for about $20 per image or $10 per image with a 5% profit royalty. Artist's name can also appear in the rules and on the box if they would like.

    Any takers?

(Note: I did not receive a response to my last post, in the new user forum, asking if I could post a job, so if this is not allowed, feel free to remove this post.)

I'm inclined to say that you're asking for a lot of commitment; what work have you done that those interested can see as an example of what you do?

You're new to the forum, so there is not even your history of participating in any discussions, or indeed anything similar, to form any realistic conclusions from.

You need to consider that most of us are doing this as a hobby in their spare time. Creating 21 characters will take time or would you use generic out of the box character from the shop? Assigning clothes props, light, environment/ Background takes  another tad of thought and time. Rendering each at a considerate size so they will have print quality takes several hours on an average computer. So a month is hardly possible. Probably for a pro but then you can't expect them working a full day for 20$, because you can't live from 20$ a day.

I suggest to think that through a bit more to make a solid offer

Why not get a couple different artists to do a small number of characters multiple times?

Other games do use multiple artists (like M:tG), although some games have one core artist in mind (Fernanda Suarez's awesome work for Dead of Winter comes to mind).

Yeah, you might have someone flake later... but then if a person flakes, it's not like the whole project goes up in smoke.

    I didn't know I had an inbox until I saw this post. 4 messages were there. o.0;

@icdchillin1 I'd like to do this for you. Could you send me a private message and we can discuss character details and prices? If you want to see my art you can check out my gallary here or over on Deviantart. https://www.deviantart.com/e-j-works I could maybe do 21 characters before October, in theory, it just depends on how much tweeking and editing I need to do on each character before they are what you want and if I'm need to buy anything specifically for this project. As for future added pictures, if it was only 2-3 at a time and depending on deadlines. Couldn't garanty I'd still be available for another large set of characters on short notice.

Please let me know as soon as possible.
