Help Please: Hair and Sword used in promo?

Hello! I hope I'm asking in the right place, never really used the forums. 

So I recently bought and love the Hanfu dress by Crocodile Liu, but I have had no luck tracking down the hair and weapons used in the first promo image


Would anyone be able to identify and point me towards them? Please and thank you!

    The hair looks a lot like Cady Hair for G8F, although in mirror image from what's shown in the promos. The hair has several length morphs.

    Don't know about the sword. There are a lot of samauri swords, and good ones, but I can't think of any with tassels.

    Now if only I could figure out what sword is used in the promo, I must have gone over Daz and Rendo's marketplaces 20 times and I can't find a match sad

    I don't thinks that's it. I posted a "what's this hair" thread a while back and got no answer. The back looks different. The Thian hair doesn't have the back straight down, it is all a bunch of little ponytails.  Here is another picture of the hair

    I kmow the sword, I recognise the tassles depending from the handle .... I'm not at home just now so checking would be haphazrd, so I'll see what I can find when I'm back home.

    Ok, found it (I think and hope!) - looks ot be the sword from Asian Prop Set

    That's the sword all right. Not sure what's in her other hand. I thought it was the scabard, but that one doesn't come with a scabard.

    It occurs to me that the hair could possibly be kitbashed, with one wig layered on top of the other, but there are a lot of double bun hairs out there, and that one could be a different one that no one is recognizing because it's using an included morph.

    If that's the sword from the original promo, then it's been very heavily modified. Look at the guard and the hilt wrapping. Plus the detail on the blade (which is being held upside down in the original promo)

    A higher resolution and more accurate katana can be found here: https://www.daz3d.com/katana-and-poses-for-genesis-8-female-s. If you search for Katana you will find many much newer and more accurate models, but I didn't see any with the tassels

    It looks like it could be a Jian-style double-edged straight sword... used in Tai Chi, used in the Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon movie.

    This set mentions a Jian with sheath, but there is no promo image and I do not have the set.

    Took a chance on that product but no, it definitely  isn't part of that set.

    And a second look at the hair show it's not the Thian set either.

    So back to square one. Though I appreciate the help everyone.

    I don't suppose anyone knows how to contact Crocodile Liu directly so I can ask them super nicely what these items are?

    There's also the possibility that the arttist didn't do the promos. They don't always. DAZ has promo artists.

    If that's the case, makes me wonder if this is unreleased stuff. Maybe for Mei Lin 8 down the pipeline?
