Strang Sale Offer today
in The Commons
Hi,
in the sale offer of today they tell "One-Day Only Top Seller and Gift-Card Flash-back Sale!"
In the 70% offer they promis to show up 70 items. But what you get in real is shown in the attachment.
Ever and ever again the site designers seem to have big problems.

Those are select items at 70% off, not 70 items.
Hm, perhaps they meant this.
But please notice what is displayed !!
I’m not complaining - more Stonemason at 70% discount - what’s not to like? ;-)
In the 60% off section, it also says "Select 60 items". Classical case of epic typing fail.
Maybe they should have hyphenated it so it reads: Select-60 Items, to indicate these are the selected items that are 60% off. Anyway, that's how I interpreted it. I wasn't expecting 60 items. Even if they had meant 60 items, if I already own some of them, they won't show on the page so it won't look like 60 items.
hmm..this is what I see
60% OFF these top-selling items
70% OFF these top-selling items
80% OFF these top-selling items
No mention of how many items are offered.
Should it really be necessary to explain it?
If they wanted to say "70% items" so they had to write it that way.
But without the "%" it says, that there are 70 items in this sale section overall.
Everthing else is misleading.
I submit, and I'd have to check other sale group pages to verify this, that it may be a text issue.
That is, they have to name the category (70% off items) but through a quirk of programming, having the % symbol in the title would mess something up.
Or, more likely, whoever named the categories thought it would mess something up, and assumed people would understand that 70 was the percentage category, and not the number of items available (since that's also displayed separately in the top left corner of the catalog.
Using the % symbol can mess up code. But there are ways to keep that from happening, that any IT person should know. So not seeing these options used makes me wonder...
...but it would explain a lot of things going on with the store.
