I just went through the whole dForce tutorial of a plane above a sphere (after trying it on my own) and it said the same thing: Could not find a valid OpenCL device. What up - anyone?

You need at least a intel Generation 3 CPU or an nVidia or AMD card that supports openCL 1.2 or greater. Look up you discrete video card, if you have one, on Bing or Google search using make, model, openCL and see if any of the links explain the openCL, openGL, and directX versions your GPU supports.
I'm trying to find out.
Well the CPU is easy to find out:
Open the
Control Panel\System and Security\System
and it's listed what the CPU is along with installed RAM.
For the GPU
Control Panel\System and Security\System -> Device Manager - Display Adaptors - then you'll see one or more GPUs listed.
I actually knew what I had. I didn't mean to give the impression I didn't know. It was the fact that the system reset incorrectly and I needed to install the drivers. Works like a charm now. It is a nVidia GeForce 1060 6gig on an Intel(R) Core(TM)i7-7700CPU@ 3.60 GHz Only 16 GB RAM
aniate2 is on sale for $11.99 if you are in the PC+ club, a bit more if you ain't, if you still want if seeing as you strictly don't need it to use the iReal Ocean model you bought.

Dang it. This didn't work. I just wrote that at 11.99 I had to get it. Then I said that I was a bit confused with the store's info compared to the product info having Install Manager ready things. I know that the 64 bit thing is good but what about the DS4 installation. I hope this post works.
If you buy it you will get 64 bit plugin & a 32 bit plugin. Since you almost surely have the 64 bit version of DAZ Studio installed you want to install the 64 bit version and ignore the 32 bit version (you can hide it in the DAZ Install Manager (DIM) by right clicking on in & hide.
What about the Item Listsed as... OOP! ...never mind. That's an installation guide.
It looks like it should be installed manually because the IM version dosen't work.
You don't need to install Animate, just enter the serial number in Help>About Installed plug-ins (for AniMate Lite) and restart DS.
I thought whenever DAZ Studio updates to a new version that plugin was one of the ones that had to be downloaded in DIM but I was wrong. It's included as a base part of the DAZ Studio install as 'Animate Lite' - the serial number turns it into aniMate2. Sorry
No biggy.
