  keep in mind shoes and boots will always be a problem no matter the generation and it's best to stick with shoes and boots made for that figure.

  As above the only non painful way of converting clothing from G8 to G3.. Some G8 footwear will work via autofit so long as the base fit pose for the footwear is with the feet in zero pose (a lot let hassle).. As once you get to the feet being posed for heels then problems can arise, and more annoying is that for reason..

  One another thing I will never understand is that some G8 footwear products will grow and leave massive amounts of space around the foot when converted down to G3..  Yes I know they are meant for G8 but it is still a weird and annoying problem..

  SY did a tutorial for fitting between generations over on Deviant Art before they released the clones that I find works pretty well.  Unlike clones, it requires a bit more pre-planning.
