How do I convert Connect to regular content?

How do I convert Connect content to regular content? (Assuming I can download them with DIM also) I download them with DIM after I installed the connect version.  How do I prevent having duplicates of everything?

    Connect content is regular content  surely.

    The only time it was different was when some products were released as encrypted - and there are no longer any encrypted products in the store.

    If for some reason you want to use the DIM files you need to uninstall the Connect files, by right-click on the product in DS.

    DIM has a 'download filters' button. Click it and scroll to bottom. Make sure 'connect installed' is unchecked to prevent DIM from installing dupes.

    Connect does the same, i.e., hides DIM-installed stuff from Avail tab so you reduce chances of dupe installs.

    Both have uninstall buttons in case you want to uninstall a product from one place or the other.

    Thankfully, but the possibility still exists that there could be more DRM products. It is worth noting that there are encrypted scripts, which are different than DRM products. wink

    This isn't quite right.  Connect installs to a whole different directory structure (the data/cloud/.... stuff) where DIM and Manual installation does NOT.

    The files are basically the same, but the locations they end up in are not.

    This is bugged. Refer this issue.

    I doubt if this is the case. I haven't found a way with Connect to isolate DIM installed content.
