why can't I drag limbs anymore?

Usually when I click on a figure arm or hand for example I can hold the mouse button and move it along with it in a dragging motion. It seems for some strange reason I can't now?! I have no idea what I've selected maybe that's stopped this ability but I acidentally de-activated the node-selection tool not long ago but is activated again I just wanted to add that just in case it has anything to do with it. Thankyouuuu.

    Does it work if you have the Universal tool selected?

    Pause with your mouse cursor over the item you wish to move, maybe a long time, until it's outlined in orange in the viewport.
