Photorealistic or 3D Scanned Clothing

Hi! I have a Genesis 3 Character and I am looking to hire someone or to buy photo realistic clothing items that will be compatible with Genesis 3 that I can use in a super short video of my character in an idle animated pose (breathing/blinking/small movement). This is for a school project and the animated video will need to be projected at about 5 ft tall...can anyone do this/does anyone have any reccomendations? I can pay! I have seen a few items for Genesis 8 that are 3D scanned but I can't tell if they would work for Genesis 3 or video?

    If you're after realism in terms of the mesh, then there are plenty of items in the Daz store which can accommodate that requirement. If you mean realism in terms of overall appearance, then that will depend heavily on your render settings, surface materials and lighting, as well as your preference in rendering engine. As for movement, that's going to be trick to get looking right without using DForce dynamics or Poser's cloth room. You may have to switch the item over to DForce yourself and play with the weights until you're happy with it.

    It might help if we had some idea on what sort of clothing you're looking for. If any outfit will do, there's plenty to choose from. If you're after a specific look however, you might need to browse further. You also didn't state whether it was for Genesis 3 male or female, so it's worth clarifying because that will also affect what you can find for it. While items can be autofit to suit one or the other, you occasionally get some small distortions here and there, depending on the item.

    And speaking of autofit, there are Genesis 8 clones for Genesis 3 which will allow you to use Genesis 8 items on Genesis 3, to help round off compatibility between figures. Again, there may be some distortion when using these so be ready for that.

    Thank you so much for getting back! I'm pretty new to 3D so I don't know much... but my character is Genesis 3 Female and I'm definetly looking for overall photorealism. Really any outfit is fine, but something simple like jeans or shorts and a tshirt or sweater would be ideal. I've looked through almost everything in the Daz store though and haven't had any luck.

    I'm going to look into autofit Genesis 8 for Genesis 3 because there do seem to be more photoreal options for genesis 8..great idea! thank you!
