Dwarf, how to....

been wanting to create some pics with fantasy figures. I havent found a good dwarf that also has gear available and hair and beard soooo....something like this the character looks fine but as far as hair, beard and gear is it just going to be trying to make something fit from mike4? I do have Gen3m of course just dont really have anything for him. IF I get something for Gen3m would it be useable by tweaking the dials or will the proportions be off and theres no sense in getting them. I havent used D Studio much and havent used DS or Poser for some time so suggestions be very welcome.

    Since the one you linked to is genesis based, anything you can get to fit the base genesis model will fit that character too

    I made this guy outta Genesis 8 using Dylan as the starting point and used Santa Beard for G3M and Feather Male Hair for M4 (with Ultimate Hair Shaders for Iray).  Meausre Metrics has him at 4'6".

    You need to make the body stocky by widening the waist and increasing overall muscle size. For the dwarvish proportions:

    Scaled him down 85%
    Arm length -35
    Legs length -22
    Enlarge the hands and feet
    Enlarge the head 6%

    For the face, I enlarged his nose and ears.

    I did this one using Ivan as the base, morphed using fantasy creature creator HD for G3M, and HFS Fantasy shapes for G3M. I found putting the armor/clothing on before I morph works better then trying to get it to fit after the morph. I also used the santa beard but I also like the Dragonsbane Barbarian hair and beard and the Adrian hair and beard

    I'm probably going to add the George hair set to my Ivan dwarf too if I ever get my system running decent again. :)

    Dariofish has one at rendo for genesis but it comes with a nice dwarven style beard

    Great job on the dwarf!  The hard face really adds to him.  I'm waiting for the Creature Creator set for G8 to come out.

    Thanks to everyone who commented. Unfortunatel I will no longer be using DS or Poser it seems. What ideas and plans I had have to be forgotten. Dad had a stroke before Christmas and I went out of work at the new year. Mom suddenly passed in April and I am trying to get my first IT certification to work in a new and better field. dad is up and down but still hanging in there. My need is to get into IT before I am on my own for good.  So thx again and best of luck.

    Good luck to you. My condolences on your loss, and my best wishes for your farther's recovery. I'm sure you'll be back at 3D soon enough, once your life has calmed.
