Thought Daz would come up with a few small breeds for a change.

I am up for more small dogs,......my cat needs something to boss around!! devil

Kudos. You have your cat under control - unlike me. Some cats adopted the back yard in 2009 and we bought them some towers, spayed them and fed them for past 9 years. In March, during 29 degree rain storm, the adopted semi-feral cats raced for the garage. A day later I noticed a set of eyes lurking outside in a cat tower near the pool. The security camera revealed a kitten (who outsmarted a six pack of semi-feral cats) and climbed up a four foot parrot and hide up in the rafters of a palapa bar.Five days later (after several failed attempts) I managed to catch her and the poor thing had pneumonia and respirtory issues! Brought her to the vet and found she had been freshly spayed but no microchip and no owners trying to reclaim her. How she survived in that condition amazed me and although I am allergic to cats I bought her a large cat tower and gave her full run of the master bedroom. And now she thinks she's the boss of me. She looks exacctly like a mini Noodles, Now that kitten is bossing me around and thinks I'm her oversized toy rat. I can't imagine what she would do to the dogs, given the chance.

I have! Back in 2002 the thanksgiving turkey (for my future husband) was cooling on the counter. While putting on makeup I heard a crash, dashed to the kitchen to find the dog scarfing down the turkey. is eyes were bulging out of their sockets. I wanted to kill him BUT instead I scooped the turkey onto a platter, carved away the outer meat, sliced it up aad served it to my fiancee (now my husband). At the dinner table, my son's eyes were the only thing bulging larger than mine.

  • Scottish Terrier and Rough Collies required. :D

  • I will give credit where credit is due. The extent and quality of this release is so impressive I almost cried because I have been wanting a more updated release of a dog figure for years !

Four or five releases of characters for dog8 on release day and amazing accessorie packs,  WOW !

This is just the start, can't wait for the first puppy release.

  • The above being said, I want a sheep and sheep dog release. Border Collies and Old English Sheep dog's and wiley coyote !

I've only ever had problems with pitbull and rottweilers in the line of duty. In this state that are considered vicious animals and are required to be leashed at all times and you have to carry liability insurance on them in case they do bite. I've known people who have both breeds and they are the most friendly dogs on the planet. Like I said it all depends on the owner. These two breeds are all to often used for dog fighting which means they were raised to be vicious, but in some cases they have been trained after the fact to be a good pet. They tend to forewarn to not have it around children though. We have a blue healer now and this dog will lick an intruder to death.

...where I last lived they had a very sweet Pitbull who would most likely drown you with her tongue.

I'm not a dog / cat person, but my brother has a playful bulldog that I would like to do an image of.

    Give us pug dogs smiley

I'm not joking, I will make a summoning circle for a Pug morph for Dog 8.

Side note: a general morph pack would be pretty amazing, as that way you can make mixed breeds (mutts) or tweak features to be more distinct: my Rocky has a more pronounced snout for a pug, while my Teeny (a rescue Pug from a breeder mill) is tinier than most.

    oh, the possibilities!

Kind of like the 'Creature Creator' packs, but for dogs....not creature dogs, just regular dogs. cheeky

Once upon a time I loved, loved, loved fireworks, and celebrated them twice, on July 1st for Canada Day (my birth place) and of course July 4th (my husbands birth place),despite the fact it made my pittbull cower under the bed. The fireworks (not legal in my neck of the woods in California), scare the living crap out of animals. Our small dogs refuse to go outside.,They pant and climb to the headrest of the sofas, hyperventilating for hours. We open the gates at the start and end of the dog run, so the semi-feral cats can race from from the back yard and lurch thru' the cat door. We always lose 2-6 birds due to cage fright and dread July 4th because fireworks (sounding like MR 80's) start a week prior and end a week later. Ironically our rescues are dogs that ran away during fireworks, so the oxymoron is, I am thankful for tfireworks in that respect. I get the passion, but dread the holidays that fireworks dominate.Having said that, I hope you all, had a pawfect holiday.

I've only had one dog who was afraid of fireworks. She would cower and climb up on bed with me, until they were over. My current dog is partly deaf and doesn't seem to care.

I'm sorry for your animals that must suffer through that.

I must say the fireworks this year, even though banned, seemed exceptionally loud, and it went on for hours sounding like mortars going off. I don't recall them being that loud in the past.

From what I understand there are now silent fireworks available, these were created with sensitive people, like myself and dogs in mind.

I would love to see a comparison between Daz Dog 8 and Hivewire Big Dog.  Hivewire does have some excellent animals, but since Daz tends to produce more content at a faster rate, I'll probably pick up Daz Dog 8.

I have both and I prefer the look and versatility of Daz dog. I also had some crashing with hivewire dog in the scene, but can’t conclusively say it is the dog...

I'll have to wait to see who comes up with an ultimate morph/breeds pack for either one.  I'm so sick of pretty girls being released but the Dog 8 had it's day, just like the HW Big Dog... nada for either one since the released dates.  I really wanted a bunch of smaller dog morphs like a Chihuahua and other cutey pie doggies.

HW has been promising the chihuhua for years now. I hope one does get released, since I will buy it wherever it lands. I am a major chi fan. But wih their slow production schedule I tend to think t will be here first- if a chi is released at all.

  • RAMWolffRAMWolff Posts: 10,348

If both companies release one I'll buy both.  I love Chi's too!  heart

An even better comparison would probably be the Labrador, since that's the HW base breed.

...I love Bulldogs Pugs and Boston terriers.  Those are the only really cool "small" dogs I ever encountered. Most others are terribly hyper and yap (sometimes 'squeak") incessantly.
