I've been toying with the idea of creating DAZ renders for print. According to https://helpdaz.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/207529493-How-do-I-create-a-high-resolution-image-in-DAZ-Studio- I would need to create a 3,000 x 2,400 image to approximate a 10" x 8" 300 DPI picture.
I'd just as soon not find out the hard way if my system is up to the task, having already just replaced the video card again, so I was wondering if anyone could tell me what a comfortable set of specs would be to consistently create this sort of thing.
My current system is 64-bit Windows 10 on an Intel Core i5-4690K at 3.5 GHz, with 16 GB of RAM and s GeForce GTX 1050 Ti OC with 4 GB of RAM
Thank you for your time.

That will do the job, but depending on the complexity of the scene (how much you have in it, number of textures) and the lighting, etc.,, and which render engine, it may take a while to render.
I would be using Iray. I've killed cards before, so I don't want to mess myself up.
Thanks!
Make sure you keep the cards cool - use somethign like MSI Afterburner to get teh gfx cards fans working earler than default.
Don't overclock the cards.
Not worth it.
