Unable to properly transfer cloth

ForestBoyForestBoy Posts: 76

Hello!

I've created a top for Genesis 8 Female.

When I try to turn it into a real cloth so that it moves along with her, it results in something akward.

I tried using the Transfer Utitily:

I selected "Genesis 8 Female" as the Source, and I selected the "top" as the Target.

In the Options dialogue, I disabled the "Morph Targets" and left everything else as it was by default.

Does anybody know what I could do to make it work fine?

Thank you very much.

Was the model created around the base Genesis 8 female or did you use a morphed version? If the latter you have to set Source Shape to match, then enable Reverse Source Shape From Target - though it's better to model around the base figure if at all possible.

Yes, I created the model around the Genesis 8 Female figure in ZBrush, leaving the UVs intact. Then I modelled the top dress around this new model.

Should I still do this? -> " If the latter you have to set Source Shape to match, then enable Reverse Source Shape From Target"?

    Oh man, you did it.

In the "Source" "Item Shape", I selected "Morph", then I selected my morph in the list, then I enabled "Reverse Source Shape from Target" and left "Morph Targets" checked, and it worked. Thank you so much!
