As an aside.. bowler hats were often coated with shellacc to add stiffness to the felt.

As far as the carriage - well, you need four reins for two horses, and a double horse rig usually runs to one pole  between the horses, not four. The horse rigging would be better with carriage horse collars and not front breast collars - and you'd really want a crupper as well..

Anyone interested in having some bustle moprhs for the Mid Victorian Outfit for Genesis 8 Female? I have the morphs done for the skirt but still have to do them for the jacket so should have them ready by Saturday evening.

Hey that's really cool! I'd be interested in these morphs.

Are any other Connect users having problems installing both the Male and Female outfits? The carriage and additional textures work OK. I've had to resort to manual install.

I will be opening a ticket for this at the weekend.

I have problems with them, and using connect only to install. Have tried re-installing several times, but still not working (see attachment). I opened a ticket on thursday afternoon (my time), but probably good if others too open to prove it's not just me :) And like with you Nattaruk, the cart and the texture sets seems to work just fine

I would have jumped on this in a second, but the man's coat looks like it doesn't fit. Like if it were buttoned, it wouldn't even meet in the middle *sigh*. I'm so bummed. Plus it looks more Edwardian than Victorian to me, which isn't really a big deal, but I wouldn't expect a bowler hat to be Victorian. A top hat, yes. Not a bowler.

    Laurie

Bowler hats were invented around 1850 in London and were popular the bottom half of that century. Top hats were a lord's hat. A bowler was what the working class wore.

If anyone watched Ripper Street (and why wouldn't you), there were a lot of bowler hats. It was the Victorian era London. Late 1880's to 1900. The detective who ran the H Division (police) wore one every episode as did tons of others.

Here are the free Bustle morphs for the Mid Victorian Female Outfit. If there are any problems with them let me know and I'll try and fix them.

I have now uploaded the file to my mega account so the download link is a much better one to use.

That link only seems to go to an ad for FileDroper. There is no reference to the bustle morphs on that page at all.

ETA: Ah, I see, you have to click on a thing that looks like it will download FileDropper. Counter-productive design, but not under your control.

    Your most welcome everyone!

I have also added the file to my mega account above. I'll leave both links up but the mega one is the better one to download from.

The male version mixes and matches with other stuff pretty well...here is G3M, wearing the shirt, tie, waistcoat, and trouser from this set, with textures from the texture expansion, plus the G2M wellington boots from Regency Expansion, and a hats from the late SAV's "Famous Hats for M4" freebie set over at Rendo.
