I recently returned to my artistic pursuits by purchasing Floyd 8 and a PC Club membership. Everyone here was so helpful and friendly. You helped remind me of the wealth of goodies and discounts I got by buying the Floyd 8 Pro Pack. I was confused on how to make it all happen, and finally submitted a Help Ticket. DAZ customer service was very helpful. I got everything I was eligible for. Next time I see such a deal, I will most likely come to my friends here to help me sort out everything.
It will take me some time to get myself together and make some art. I ran into some weird computer experiences, but all seems to have settled down. Thank you all, again.

The Pro Pack deals last two weeks, so there will be plenty of time before buying to read the many comments sure to follow the release of a new figure. (And for the kinks to work out).
I didn't do anything to help - not out of disinterest but because I hadn't seen your difficulties - but I am glad your creative spark still glows brightly! Render on!
grinch2901 Thank you so much for your supportive response. I didn't mention all my computer problems, mainly because they were so weird. However, many people here helped me understand the latest PC Club sale that helped me get an abundance of products for an inexpensive price. All my best to you, and yours! I love your name and Avatar! I'm accused of being a Grinch around Christmas time!
This community is great and I find that they're always happy to help when they can!
I'm really glad you got things straightened out with the purchase and I hope you get the computer problems worked out at well.
Hopefully you'll be able to make some 3D art soon, Ron. :)
Divamakeup thank you so much for your support. I thought, for a time that my main DAZ3D and my backup DAZ3D drive had died. I fiddled and cursed, and eventually things came out all right.
I've been dealing with my Sleep Apnea, trying to get a properly fitting mask so I could get some good sleep. I think, finally, that problem is solved. The next few days are rather hectic with groceries arriving via UPS, a birthday party, and father's day party into the weekend.
I have had some happy moments, recently. Over the past decade I decided it's fun to share excitement and encouragement. You might say this post is my way of sharing that excitement, and bringing a touch of sunshine into everyone's lives.
Awww That's a sweet way to look at things. :)
I hope you have fun at the Birthday party and Father's Day party.
Good to have you back Ron! look forward to your renders!
Thanks, again, everyone. My brother's birthday is June 9. And Father's Day is Jun 17. We'll get together on Saturday for a combined birthday party. My family has moved a lot over our lives. I moved to Minnesota in 1974 to be near my family. By the 1990s, my parents moved around some more. They settled for awhile in Florida. I moved to Florida around 1992. In 1999, I reconnected with my former girlfriend over the Internet. I went to Maine to see her again, after 33 years. We got married in 1999. That's also when I discovered Poser, and eventually, DAZ Studio.
My wife and I ended the marriage in 2005. We split as friends. I stayed in Maine till 2014. By that time, my parents had returned to Minnesota. My stepmother has grown kids who live in Minnesota. My brother David moved to Minnesota around 1972, and has remained here ever since. I hadn't seen David in almost 30 years. I decided to move into the same building where he lives. We're slowly settling into a routine of two grumpy old men who tolerate each other!
*stops skulking and gives a random hug to Ron* just cause I wanted to :)
Carola O, here's one huge hug for you! Have a wonderful day!
