Shows quite a few updates but when I try to install says FAILED... Why show updates if they cannot be installed???

That's some issue at your end. DIM hasn't failed any updaes at my end.
Solution????
Click the gear icon and then click 'show log' and see what the error messages are.
Installer had update..Seems nothing is showing now...:)
