copying real life poses from internet for characters and website recommendation

Ok, like most likely everyone here, i have been copying poses i like from real people i have seen in the internet and used them in my renders. Sometimes you get also exellent camera angles with the pose and you can use them also.  Well to my question, you guys have been doing this a lot longer than i and you might have found some excellent sites just for this.  So any recommendation would be nice or maybe there is previous daz post abouth it and i just cant find it. There must be, this is an idea that every noob gets in some point.

Not sure why you think most everyone here does that, but I have never used images on the net for posing and haven't really heard of a resource like this either. If anything I tend to do partial poses myself to try and keep it realistic looking and occasionally I'll see a stance in a movie that I'll try to replicate.

Google image search is your best tool thousands upon thousands of images of poses.

Totally agree,@ChadCrypto - although somewhat unorthodox, for this image I googled several images of puppy dogs sitting for the dragon, and jockies as references for posing the rider:

Search Deviantart for 'pose reference' - you'll get tons of really nice images for just this purpose!

Ok, i'll try google and deviantart first, but there has to be also a site with different photographic techniques and thousands of different model poses. I'll try to find one, we would be foolish to not to use all the knowledge that world offers to us.

I am currently using Pinterest to view ballet poses as there are some very interesting images there, real life and or hand drawn, etc and it makes the "search" all the more productive than just googling "ballet".

Google is so clogged with desperate promoted search results anymore and some of those promoted sites near the top of the search results that are major part fabrications are taken as truth be many people. Which reminds me; I need to install a spell checker / dictionary for my computer & be done almost 100% with Google Search.

ROFL! I've seen this several times but don't think I've commented on it - this render is So Much Win! :) I love her expression - she looks so gung-ho and he looks so nonchalant. Like she's all "Into battle my mighty steed" and he's all like "Well, ok ...if you insist". lol

I must question the 'real life' aspect of the OP's thread though; I hadn't realised dragons had been discovered. cheeky

My apologies for the errant post - at least the jockey and puppy were real, though lol. In an effort to stay more on topic, I'll add that there are tons of high quality professional stock photography sites with extensive content and search capability. I hesitate to post links as they are commercial sites and I didn't want to violate the forums TOS.
