It's a hand, especially if you see it on Richard Haseltine's Avatar,  never sure if it's trying to grab the cat or just tickle it's head.

Yep that is what I see as well. I've always thought the DAZ avatar logo an oddity my mind doesn't like to wrap around it

I've made a couple FaceGen to Avatars and I've tried different styles but since I pretty much look like an overgrown Lucky Charms leprechaun it winds up looking like a generic character and not so easily recognizable a caricature as say when someone does a caricature of Einstein (eg 3DU's Scientist) or a similarly unique character. They use FaceGen, DAZ Genesis 3 Head & Body Morphs, Morpheus, 3DU Toon Generations, and freebies from Mythcons on ShareCG.

The left one was meant to be in the modern Disney style, think Frozen or one of their new 3D movies.

The right one was meant to be like those muppets from the old Phil Collins / Genesis music video from the 80s called  'Land of Confusion'

I think I got the styles right in both although I couldn't manage to make the beach babe look like she is actively squeezing his biceps and gasping.

    Avatars derived via FaceGen Morphs
Babe the Blue Ox and Paul Bunyan Montauk, New York

I'm now going to try to do the TV shows Lost in Space (again but with a functional B-9 robot and the Jupiter 2 space ship), Route 66, and Sanford & Son in the next couple of weeks.

I also did this one below using no FaceGen but which someone pointed out is a pretty good caricature of Bill & Hillary Clinton but honestly it was completely unintentional and I was going instead for the look of a properly reserved English couple (probably where the majority of Bill & Hillary's ancestors are from so that's not a surprise) that are loathe to hurt the mice in the English nursery rhyme Three Blind Mice.

However 3 Blind Mice caricatures were strictly DAZ 3D / 3DU / Joe Quick morphs that I adjusted from my Bewitched scene. I'm lazy like that, especially when a caricature already fits or nearly fits the expected look for a story.

I absolutely love these!!  Is that the Atlas shape you're belnding in on some of them?  I've been playing with using that one on my own Facegen avatar recently.

Yes, the Atlas is at 33% & FaceGen morph at 100%. It's a lazy way to change a character easily. I like it.

Your avatar reminds me of a Marvel comic heo but I can't remember who. Doc Savage maybe.

I love this thread. I'll play.

My original avatar and the first avatar I ever made was Sadie for Genesis wearing jaguar Cat Genesis skin so I called her Sadie Jaguar when I posted her to my gallery. In the forums, I kept calling her Jaguar Sadie and that kind of stuck. I couldn't resist finding out how she Sadie would look in it and I was very happy with how she turned out. She is still probably my favorite avatar to date. I just cropped her around the head and that was it for the longest time. She was done in 2014 in 3Delight and I had no idea what I was doing back then.

On my second anniversary of using DS, I decided to give my Jaguar Sadie a facelift. I used it as an opportunity to learn how to make my own hair with LAMH. It did not turn out the way I wanted or expected so I'm still working on it sometimes. I ended up doing the only thing I could with a bad hair day. I got creative in Gimp and minimized how bad it looked.

My current avatar and one I'm really happy with because I love the character. My skills have improved immensely since those early days I've gotten better at dial spinning my own characters and creating my own characters with merchant resources. So, when I need to visualize characters for my books, I create the character in Daz Studio now. So, my current avatar is a dial spun character named Millicent "Mellie" Hayes, an urban adventurer in one of my stories which I'll probably publish sometime this year or early next year.

Mellie is a mix of LY Darby, SASE Kennedy (I think is no longer available), and Larian for Ninive 6.

I use this one of VYK Dolly on another forum. I love this particular makeup option:

And lastly, I've used a cropped version of this one which is also a dial spun character for another book that hasn't been published yet. I love how she turned out:

Her name is Camilla and she uses Victoria 8, FWSA Elizabeth, FW Rebekah, and P3D Duffy.

+1 I love the Bone Doctor and his skeletal slaves minions!

Thank you both smiley  How did you know that he considers them his minions (though they may not agree laugh)!  I need to invent a new product just so I can continue the adventures of the Bone Doctor and his skeletal minions! smiley
