Being Blender guy and new to Daz I am trying to grasp how exactly the templated textures works when the object is morphed? In Blender the textures are made *after* any mesh editings (which are actually morphs) or the textures become distorted.

if you morph a character away from the base shape, the textures will distort.
When making an extreme character, a good pa can modify his textures to look good on the stretched uv, or they can also remap the character and come up with a custom uv set to match the morph.
does alt uv need to be the whole mesh?
some face morphs could use a re-uv of just the face.
