..most likely going to get just the base figure and Good Guys morphs. Don't have that 20% banner as I never bought a G8 Pro bundle. As matter of fact I rarely buy pro bundles at all because they often include content I wouldn't use (like fantasy stuff, and for females, skimpwear). Might have gone for it if instead of the Viking and Wizard outfits it included an old slightly worn military uniform and a "Professor" ensemble (with tweed jacket that has the patches on the elbows).
Need another "Build a Bundle".
So, as I'm not buying enough here, I don't get an extra 20% off... The price for Floyd pro with PC+ and three addons is $ 52.90 as has been stated. But the addons still cost me about another $ 24.-, and that's only because I just chose addons with the PC+ option, and not those that I would rather have. And yeah, I could get three G3 (or older) pro packs, which mostly only have limited numbers of items (cloth/hair) I would like to have, as the characters are of no real use for me. Or some other packs, which also don't offer much for my needs.
So I would have to spend $ 76.37 for Floyd, three addons and free stuff that I don't have on my wishlist...
Compared to that, Ollie... Ollie needed a higher buy in, gave less in the form of free packs, but came cheaper in the end. With Ollie I bought four addons, which all were useful. And I got only one free pro pack - Vicky 7 - but one I wanted to have. And in total Ollie, addons and Vicky 7 Pro did cost me... $ 52.13
If Floyd had come with a deal like that, I would have bought him... so he ends up on the "sometimes, when he's cheap, probably when G9M is out and the packs get offered in deals" list. Like Edward.

I just got the base and 1 of the expressions but I really like Floyd here he is with 45 %Toon Generation2 added with 60age he is just so dapper!!
Just like Glumgurgle, he's what pushed me over into getting the pro bundle. And this guy is going to be perfect for a sequence I've been working on.
LOL! A troll with purple briefs! *snort* I'll get so much use out of the Troll. He looks fantastic with or without Floyd. The poor fella is so hidious I don't know whether to pity him or fear him. ;-)
He looks kinda cute, and has actually been the cause of considering the whole deal; was tempted before but my cart is now filling up. I might even hit buy!

Yet another big fan of the Troll, but I haven't bought the Floyd bundle yet... waiting on a Price Protection refund from DAZ after yesterday's spend-a-thon.
Weird. Mika, Edie, Penny, Ollie plus 3 add ons deals definitely had lower priced pro bundles than this deal...
I'll have to sit on this... having bought a few things already this week, I need to hold the line somewhere. I didn't really have a use for Ollie either, and there are a few days before Jude.
I like this character a lot. But to get the best discount on the pro-pack I'd need to buy stuff I don't really want that costs more than the extra bit I'd be saving by buying that stuff (i.e. it ends up costing more than the pro-pack alone). So bottom line: the "deal" costs me more. So then it's back to just the pack itself and ultimatety it's just a bit too steep for me. I will probably eventually spring for the character alone, I dunno but probably not right now through. Next time it's on sale I guess.

For a limited time you can get the HD figure free with the base character (just load both in the cart). Don't know how long that lasts, but the info might help with your now-or-later decision.
Unless I am mistaken the Good Guys are not really morphs, but presets for existing morphs (namely G8M head/body, Ollie and Floyd). So unless you have all those they will not look like the promos. I am likley to pick up the Floyd 8 pro pack, but I don't have Ollie, so a lot of the presets will not work for me.
Here's Floyd with Darius skin and a bunch of tweaking to the nose and mouth.
Why not just get Floyd?
I keep seeing people saying how great Floyd is but they can't afford the price of the pro-bundle so they "have to pass". I don't get that. If you like the figure, just buy the figure. The Pro bundle will eventually be on sale (and eventually still probably be free with another pro bundle purchase way down the road).
So if you like the figure, just buy the figure. You don't have to buy the entire bundle just to have the figure.

Oh, another cool thing about Floyd is the 'old gross teeth' material. Which you can sub in for other characters! (I will likely use it for monsters... )

..oh I understood they were add-ons for Floyd or Ollie. and the G8M morphs. With a bit of fine tuning they would be a good basis for different characters.
Buying Floyd (solo) now, when one wants to buy the pro pack for all the other good stuff in it would feel to me like a waste of money. Like I would pay twice for Floyd...
Add to that, it's just a hobby. There is no real pressing NEED to have Floyd just right now... he's a "nice to have" figure... like most other stuff in the shop... but even if I don't get him now or in a year or two my life will still go on as good with or without him.
People are different... for some it is "Oh god, it is nice and shiny and it glitters, so I must have it or I will die" and for others it's "Okay, do I need it? And if, do I need it now? And what if it would not have been made, would I STILL need it?"
With a shopping strategy like that, one usually buys a lot less stuff - not only here, but all stuff like real life clothes etc. - that end up unused and just lying around.
It's a bit like yesterday's "Platinum Deal" - at first I had about 30 items in the cart and would have had to pay ~ $ 70.- to get them. Then I checked which of them I really needed fast. And in the end the list shrank to 9 items for $ 11.- while the others still sit on my wishlist waiting for the right time to buy them.
Um... except it's kind of throwing away money if you expect that you'll ever buy anything else thats in one of the bundles. The stand-alone price of the DAZ figures is kept artifically and ridiculously high at launch compared to buying them as part of a bundle, especially in a case like Floyd. If you're in the PC+ and buy just Floyd by himself, that's $22.03, though at least that does currently also include the HD add-on. That's literally half the price of the Starter Bundle which costs $44.08, in which the Floyd Figure (and all the other five bundle items not counting the "free" HD addon) effectively only costs $7.34 each. So even if you think you're only going to ever want just one or two of those items, you come out well ahead by buying the Starter Bundle. Now, give it a few months and then Floyd himself will be subject to a 65% or so discount, so he'll only be $15.73 or so, If you really think you're only going to buy him and just him, that's the time to buy. Otherwise, the real argument to be made is for just getting the Starter Bundle, as while the Pro Bundle the price per item drops again, it's nowhere near as dramatic, with the items in the Floyd PP running $6.01 each (again, not counting the HD add on). EXCEPT, of course, when less DAZ starts tossing in a lot of added incentives to buy the Pro Bundle, which they have. I think my effective per item price in the cart I'm building is going to work out to about $2.81 per item, and the only reason that it's that high is because I already own just about everything in all the bigger bundles and don't count re-buying items that I already own. A lot of other people are probably seeing per item averages of well under $1.99 each.

I guess I don't buy enough pro bundles either i've only 2 for the Genesis 8 cycle so no 20% discount for me. I still might buy this bundle though as the wrinkles it adds are realistic something that has been missing in pro bundles since inception of the concept of pro bundles. I probably need it more the Girl 8 & Guy 8. It's too bad that the Dragon 3 Pro Bundles was not one of the choices. I have a feeling it might be with Girl/Guy 8 pro bundles.
