still page adjusting so don't know prices or additional discounts yet besides buy addons to get additional discounts which usually makes it cheaper then pro alone but looks like a lot of stuff some may want, plus hd is there also 2 free bundles those pc members just remember don't try use your coupons if you pick up the freebies cause it wont work it'll go on the freebies and wasted

Wow, Daz is really making strides in their new characters. Good to see such a realistic Man. I'm sad I'm broke till June. Good going Daz and the PAs' for making such a cool addition.
I think Mabel 8 is his counter part and will most likely be next in 2 weeks.
Floyd looks great and I was all jazzed up about buying another male bundle, but I have to sort out some charges and a shipment that wasn't suppose to happen. As much as I'd like to have Floyd and all his add-ons in my runtime, I really can live without him. I don't have anything I really need a character that realistic looking for and I have other options for old white guys.
I wish Floyd all the best in sales, and look forward to seeing renders posted here.

Any idea how long the deal on Floyd will last? Would love to take advantage of getting three more pro bundles with him, but I just can't afford it this week. Also I need to renew my Plus membership first.

That's what I thought too, this may be DAZ's most photorealistic character yet. Good to see advancements.
hmm liking this one. thinking of Floyd and Rayn in an ice cream parlor (Grandfather and grand daughter). Can think of several scenes where he would be a great addition.
I like the 'Good Guys' addon that's one of the 'associated items' for the sale.
There's enough variation between a few of these guys to keep things interesting at least!

Really good. Walter Mathau is who I thought Floyd most resembles too. It will be cool to see Mabel if Mabel is Floyd's counterpart like is being guessed.

Kinda funny how there are posts here that say Daz only sells Skinny Super Models Ladies. Yet they drop so many that are not in that genre, in 2018. Blows my mind! Floyd to the future!

...he may be the first character that actually gets me interested in G8. Along with the Good Guys morphs, he'd be perfect for several of the older male characters in my storyline.

This could be the first character that I could tweak to look like my late Dad. So cool.
Floyd is AWESOME! Very good character and I also love the "Good Guys" add-on. Makes it very versatile. Tanks to all the creators who worked on this :D
Yes! This one is a winner. I'm getting my hopes up for the mysterious Mabel.
*Always* have need for older characters. And now we can dial spin a whole slew of character actors. Older skins were also a large gap in the library (not as bad as during the long dry spell, but since G3 changed all the rules, that's a library which needs to be rebuilt.)
And an updated old-style hairset as well. In fact two of them. Great!
Not especially enthusiastic about the Viking set, Would have rather seen a classic "old man's cardigan" and those old man pants which are high waisted enough to cover a multitude of bellies. And while the Wizard robe is not unwelcome, it's infelicitous timing having to follow Luthbel's. And would have prefered something other than more Wizard poses. Although I suppose they could be used for something. Would have also rather seen something other than a troll for a 2nd bundled add-on character. Not that it isn't a rather splendid troll.
Glad to see the overalls, but they seem to lack surface detail. Would cranking up the bump or normals take care of that?
he looks awesome but I just cannot justify spending anything more on 3D to myself at the moment
even though I now can feasibly render animation in DS with HD characters thanks to finally porting my Octane render plugin over to my beta and ditching iray
I would need to also buy a PC+ subscription to afford him and there are so many other things then I would also want, its a honey trap
DAZ finally got me with Edie pro when they had that random 30% banner, had resisted much including Oly who I also want one day until then,
I need to stay strong
DAZ is finally moving outside the box with their characters when I can least afford it.
