Yellow Highlight

Is there any way to disable the yellow highlight feature that takes place when one sellects something. (and the figure or object is highlited in yellow.)

At times, I don't want it repeatedly interfering in my development progress.

    In the Draw Settings pane adjust the Highlight Style to Bounding Box Only

    I know you can change the color under Window > Style > Customize > Accents, but I don't know about disabling it altogether.

    What I do is make certain objects unselectable in the Scene tab (click on the checkbox next to the visibility eye, so it changes to an x).

    Draw Settings pane adjust Active Opacity mine is 8% since a while - I think it was around 15% by default.
