I was hoping that it was included as part of that shader set???
Considering that 1) it's a shader set, and 2) there's nothing beside shader presets listed in "what's included" list, I'd say it's not included...
No it was something that was around a while back. Someone could pop over and ask Jen in the PC forum if she knows what it is and where it is/was.
I think it's part of a freebie in Renderosity or at least it's pretty close. Search for apcgraficos balloons.
There are also a couple that look even closer at cgtrader
It doesn't look quite the same to me. Plus the Renderosity freebie is non-commercial use only; so I doubt that is it
Thanks, It is good for me.
It looks very similar to this one at cgtrader.
And a free object version here.
Any will be cheaper than this one: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/jeff-koons-balloon-dog-sculpture-655548
"Pop-art provocateur Jeff Koons has broken a world record for a price paid for a single artwork by a living artist. His sculpture "Balloon Dog (Orange)" fetched $58,405,000 at a Christie's New York auction on Tuesday night. High-end estimates suggested it might sell for as much as $55 million. (The previous record-holder was a painting by Gerhard Richter depicting an Italian city square, which sold for $37.1 million in May.) Christie's has released no information as to the identity of the winning bidder."
Here's that free one imported in D|S with one of Mec4D'd shaders applied. ANd judging by the curved ears, it sure looks like the one from the promo.
Thanks for the link! I have a balloon dog now...
License is a Creative Commons license. If I'm reading it right, you can use it to your heart's content, as long as you give proper attribution.
So here's my question. The license says 'give attribution if supplied', but there's no readme in the .zip, just a .blend and an .obj file in the zip. It's done by Rob Myers, but since a readme isn't supplied... thoughts?
If you click on the "By downloading this thing, you agree to abide by the license: Creative Commons - Attribution - Share Alike" just above the blue download button, it takes you to an attribution card. I would inlude that in any readMe if you redistribute the file.
Thanks. That really should be in a readme inside the zip, so I made my own readme noting the attribution, and stuck it in the .zip I downloaded for later reference.
Great shaders. I have found a different dog model - also a freebie,
If one search https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/ for "balloon dog cachorro"...
... and another freebie from 3Dwarehouse.
