https://www.daz3d.com/sy-dforce-confetti-and-nature-effects how do you get the dForce to work.

I have tried several shapes, when I try to make them fall using dForce, I get an error. So, I thought maybe I had to set the object to use dForce first, and I get the same error.

What is the sequence to put confetti in the scene and then have to fall on an object on the ground?

(I forget the exact message, I'm not on my DS machine.)

I had the same problem for a long time.  If it's the same issue then you probably need to update OpenCL.  If you use a GPU you might need a driver update, it's also possible to update it in Windows for CPU sims. I dont recall how specifically I did that.   When I did it, dForce stopped throwing errors and started to work in both GPU and CPU modes.

I wonder if the recent Windows Update has something to do with this. I had used other dForce products with no problem before.

Normally you just load them in the scene and click simulate. If that's not working maybe try with a different dForce product to see if it might be a driver issue?

I'll do that when I get home.

Weird, when I tried it again this weekend, it worked every time. I didn't try every prop but the one I did try worked. I'm not sure, but this may have increased the render time with all the extra shadows and stuff. But still it worked. Thank you for the cool product SickleYield.
