I am not much of an impulse buyer, but if I see something and have immediate render ideas for it or already have a use for it, then in the cart it goes. My 2 most recent impulse purchases with be the Dforce Classic Long Hair https://www.daz3d.com/classic-long-hair-with-dforce-for-genesis-8-females mainly because I want dynamic hair badly and I liked the look of this one for a couple of projects I am working on and it has exceeded my expectations so far.
The there was the H&C Trenchcoat outfit https://www.daz3d.com/hc-trench-coat-outfit-for-genesis-8-males which I got because it's a classic look and a long coat which are in short supply. Plus this vendor does quality work so it's a no brainer.
I've been buying products here for about two years and if I remember correctly there's only been two times when I saw something pop up in the store and immediately I added it to my cart (I usually agonize over every single buying decision and mull things over for a couple hours at least, usually longer). Two products in two years. I guess I don't get that "luv at first sight" thing very often. But when I do, oh boy - in the cart it goes. lol I wish it happened more often, to be honest. While there are a few products that come out that really impress me, it takes a lot to make me go "I HAVE TO HAVE THAT NOW!". lol I totally love when it does happen though.
So what were they?
Well, that's kind of embarrassing to say, as it reveals what kind of a sucker I am for quirky and unusual characters. lol
Star for Genesis 3 Female and the Edie 8 Pro Bundle.
If one can produce something cute and quirky, as well as really unique and unusual, like those characters - it grabs my attention immediately.
The MICH 2 Gothic Pack nearly became the third, but the price gave me a bit of a pause. If the price where lower it would have flown into my cart, but sadly I think the hubby would be upset with me if I spent that much - at least until I get paid for Altern8. And I'll likely need to wait until I can get it for a bigger discount. I'm sure it's worth every penny, as it's absolutely stunning, but I just can't bring myself to pay nearly $46 for a single product. Not on my current budget anyway.

I had been waiting a decade for a real, accurate concert grand Piano.
This car chase video sealed the deal. https://www.daz3d.com/car-chase-aniblocks-for-animation-four-wheeler-template
Ollie
Everything else usually took hours to days to week of thinking "do I really NEED it?"
The Ollie Pro Pack was the first thing, that gave me the immediate "I must have this NAO!" feeling. And I don't regret giving in to that feeling.
All the time- especially when it inspires an entire story or makes a story..tellable.
I had the whole car driving by a cliff idea for months and months and then I found that FirstBastion set and I knew what my first comic was going to be.
This still goes down as a legendary purchase.
Let me see...probably the Godrays or the Ghost Lights...I throw anything in the cart that saves time or makes using Daz easier.
