So I am trying to make a Redskull character, and in need of a decent SS Nazi outfit for G2M/G3M? I know that there is one for M4 over at Rendo, but not sure how well it would convert to later gen characters.
Also trying to figure out how to kitbash a decent Spawn character. Need a face morph or mask that could work, props and cape possibilities, etc. The cape is especially a challenge because it has such a high collar and don't have a clue on how to achieve that.
Thanks!

The M4 SS uniform converts pretty well to G2M and G3M (and Dusk), though the boots convert better on the G2M than G3M. Here's an example on G3M (left) and G2M (right.) Didn't adjust the Poser materials beyond toning down the specular values and turning off reflection maps.
The collar/tie and front upper pockets on the jacket are separate though they load with the jacket.
Hate nazis, but it's a great dieselpunk look, which is why I bought it.
Forgot to add that you might want to take a look at Desert Pathfinders for G2M -- it's not exactly SS but could be used with the M4 outfit or other outfits to get the look you're after and maybe avoid the boot problem and other similar autofit issues.
As for the Spawn cape, maybe you could cobble something together with this set -- Flying Fabric -- using scaling and rotation? I haven't bought that one yet, but it's in my wishlist.
Thanks for sending that. Yeah, we all hate Nazis but it is a necessary evil in order to make Redskull from Captain America. Desert Pathfinders looks pretty good.
I think I do have that fabric in my wishlist too. Any ideas on how to creat a face morph for Spawn's face?
You're welcome. The Rendo SS uniform is probably more historically accurate but Desert Pathfinders is a nice outfit. I have it.
Re: Spawn's face -- Mask or no mask? Any pictures of what you're looking for in particular?
The vendor MightyMite at Rendo does a bunch of kitbashing comic book costume stuff for G3; you could contact them and ask if there are any plans for a Spawn-like mask.
Otherwise, a tranparency map on something like Morphing Mask for Genesis/Genesis 2 might work okay.
Mathius Vampire and Damien Demon both have that sort of damaged/stringy skin. Color could be changed in diffuse or in an image editor.
I don't have either of those and I'm not sure what the Damien texture would look like if you didn't use the horns.
Do you have any of the various creature morphs sets? Those would have morphs to make a more cadaverous-looking face. I think there are a number of teeth morph sets in the store too, to get a set of scarier-looking teeth.
That's all I can think of; I don't do much with comic book characters so probably not much help here. Maybe someone will have some better ideas for you.
I am definitely looking to make something more classic in terms of his look. So I need to figure out how to do some kind of mask that has no nose and mouth. Or if there was a face morph that might work too and then possibly open the face texture in Photoshop to create the white design. See the attached image here.
So here's a thought...wondering if I could use RawArt Slim Man and then create a custom face texture. Has anyone done anything like that?
Very late reply here, but yeah, I'm doing a lot of custom textures from existing ones. I used Mortag Demon for the base of the guy attached. My experience says you'd end up needing to use the whole body and overlay your design on that. If you're doing the joins (i'm sure there's a technical term..seams maybe) in something like Photoshop then changing anything, those get pretty obvious, and that's using the Mortag base for all. One tip is if you want any kind of bump, have all the bump, normal, base, sss, and spec texture maps in the same file so you can keep them as layers and when you change something in one it's easier to change it in all to match.
