There are no compatable figures for this character

Apparently she never existed... but she's on sale. When DAZ wants to forget something but still profit from it... it's kind of lame.

Support what got you here, DAZ. Or delete all that old stuff. Why pretend?

it looks like she's for the original Victoria who has long since been vaulted. I do agree it's odd that they keep addons for figures they no longer sell.

Umm....She is a Victoria 1 character...from long, long ago in a previous Millenium.   Not thinking there will be too many takers, I never even installed Victoria 1.

According to the blurb she's a character for 'Daz's Victoria Figure', so I'm guessing its for Victoria 1.

I'm sure someone out there is still using V1. they don't have V1 for sale, yet people who still do. Can buy it, I'm guessing. Not sure why though. Nostalgia maybe.

If I could find the original Aiko, for cheap of course, I'd pick her up simply for completeness purposes.  The model is absolutely primitve by today's standards, but sometimes you can still find uses for a 'retro' character.  Kind of like Tron vs Tron Legacy, you get the idea.

Victoria 1 is actually still available, even if it is not very well known. You just buy this cheap PC+ 1.99 item

    https://www.daz3d.com/mimic-lite

And you will find V1 is one of the included products

Since it's not a Daz Original but a PA owned item, isn't it out of Daz's hand to remove it from the store?

I am pretty sure DAZ can remove anything from its stores, it has certainly vaulted PA products in the past. The main difference with PA products is that they can choose to remove them, even if DAZ would like to retain them.

Yep, I got this Blue Pixie created by 3duniverse , way back in 2004. it's an awesome model. Yet it was pulled out the store for a while now. I can still download it. Which is good. I love that Pixie.

3DUniverse did update it to be a Genisis 3 Male figure. Which looks really cool. Though I really like the original.

Oh yeah. Garee did an add on for the pixie, PowerPixie I think it was called. Had some additional morphs and what all.

I still use that pixie when I have a need for such things (as I did earlier this week).

Vaulting only occurs if the PA or the item have had extremely low sales over a certain period.  ITs not something they do ona  regular basis.  THey are very lenient about it

I own Mimic lite. But I don't find the mentioned content anywhere in DAZstudio. Where is it hidden?

Which anywheres are you looking in? Remember that this is very old Poser content — in fact, it might have been vaulted before the current content database system was created, so it won't ever have had the required metadata — so you won't find it in Smart Content, it isn't D|S format files, and it's a bit of a toss-up whether it'll be in Products or Categories either. You'll only find it in the Poser Formats section of the Content Library, in the Figures library folder, probably the DAZ People sub-folder.

On second thoughts... Mimic Lite is a lot more recent, so it might have included metadata to at least place V1 somewhere into the Products view.

If nothing else, the wording needs changing from "half-cast" to mixed-race. That seems to be the accepted term, and it certainly sounds better.
