    I really like the look of Edie 8 and her alter-egos but I don't have any other G8 characters or morph packs or all the Zev0 stuff that I normally use with G3 to fashion my own version of characters. I see here some lovely mixes with other characters which makes me even more envious.

    I would beg for a G3F version but I'm pretty sure that DAZ and the PA would not be open to that. Oh, and I have the toon generations for G3 which I bet would mix so well with an Edie G3. Ah well, never mind.

    Hey, is there a viewport preview mode besides iRay that I can see any moire patterns on surfaces I've applied tilable textures to before I render? Thanks.

    Face is 75% Edie, 50% BJ Sahel. Body is mostly BJ Sahel, various tweaks. Skin is BJ Sahel.

    I managed to transfer Ollie's head morph back to G3 without too much trouble, using a Sickleyield tutorial. The body required rigging adjustments I wasn't capale of making so when I need Ollie I just use the skinny person morphs I already have for G3. That's what I'm planning on doing for Edie when I get her.

    No, that was just for people who weren't getting the discount for previous Name 8 Pro bundles. The coupon issue is a known thing, and you will need to open a ticket for that (set the Sales Support Issue to PC coupon).

    FYI, apparently this is by design and if you add 100% discounted items to your cart you don't receive your full coupon (100% discounted item is treated the same as a free item even though it only triggers under specific criteria)

    It is a known issue, not an intentional design. If you use a coupon with free products in the cart, the cart total will not reflect the full amount of the coupon, but you can file a ticket with Customer Service and they will quickly and cheerfully refund the difference.

    I did file a ticket and the response was that it was correct as described in the small print so no $6 off. Even worse have now found out I was actually charged $106 for the cart which was $53, add $6 code was $51! If I don't get a response in the next couple of hours I'll be filing for a refund on the whole order, and if no response contacting my bank. Hopefully the offer will still be available then :-(

    Wow! Some great renders here! Fun to see what everyone is doing with her!

    This is Grandma for Edie, she's still got it LOL. Unfortunately, she comes with NO makeup at all! Even grandmas like to look nice sometimes! And she comes with the lipstick she's wearing with no way to take it off...  I used the LIE eyeliner and blush from Dottie, which I almost didn't buy, but now I'm glad I did to have eyeliner and blush, now ready in my scripts for any character that doesn't have them..

    That is a very new policy, then, and something we all need to know about. I know I'm not the only one who has contacted CS to get the difference refunded, and it was done within hours of sending in the ticket.

    As for the incorrect charge, that is another, frustrating, known bug. You might be best served asking to return the entire order, specify the refund go to the funding source or it will become store credit, and ask to have your coupon reset. Then place a new order with the same items, and save the coupon for another order. The promotion and sale prices should be good until Daz Midnight, May 8th. Intro discounts on all new releases stay in place for two weeks, and special promos like the one for Edie seldom change during that time.

    Hahaha.....she's fabulous Wonderland! The hair you set up just makes the whole image :)

    I managed to find the right hair ..I think...for Magrat. It was the Stella hair that was included in the bundle already! Perfect! 

    I got some jewelry on her but will have to try to mix it up a bit differently as they don't lay well over each other and I think should probably make the chains a leather cord maybe. Doesn't seem like Magrat would be one to have expensive gold etc. Also I think the earrings work but I need to put some shaders on them as they are old and wouldn't take the Poser mats they came with.

    She's incredibly versatile, but she's not for me. She reminds me of Bette Midler in Hocus Pocus.

    I'm loving all of you guys' renders of Edie and her additional characters. These are really a breath of fresh air from the typical supermodel or super young pinup girl. (And this coming from someone who loves supermodel and pinup girl characters! lol) It's just really nice to have some age variety and Edie and Ollie and Alexandra and Edward really bring that to the table. It's AWESOME!

    IIRC a phrase something like "enough cheap trinkets and shiny amulets to work as a light suit of armour" was used at one point. Actual gold content would be entirely coincidental (and accidental).

    And since I got Edie last night, it's time I had a go myself at a few mixes, to see who I can come up with.

    Thanks SpottedKitty! I was considering just making it silver for a start or maybe a bit darker so its pewter maybe? You're exactly right...just need to make it look cheaper and a bit of variety. I'm just not wanting to push her so far in the jewelry bits dept. that she ends up as Anagramma..LOL. This first render I think I'm going to go for the Witches Abroad look, with the pumpkins and the fairy godmother wand, looking annoyed type of thing.

    I need to bring all the materials in line once I get the outfit correct and then work on adjusting her face a bit.

    I'm also feeling the need to do one of Annoia (Goddess of Things that Get Stuck in Drawers.) Somehow I'm probably not the only one who has taken her as their patron saint!
