dForce Handcuffs (or Shackles)

Can dForce objects have 2 points of attachments? If so, are dForce Handcuffs possible? If the length is too short, maybe dForce Shackles.

If this is possible is there any way to connect two people together with shackes the stretch/hand between them?

Based on other forum posts about chains and such, I doubt you can use dforce on solid type objects (static surface) that are connected. Would probably be much easier to just use a rigged conforming set instead. Sickleyield has shackled products for all generations

I would think that rigid items like chain links would be better served rigged. However I can think of all kinds of things that would benefit from dforce, like velvet ropes, wires, clothes lines....the list goes on :)

Agreed. I keep thinking there has to be a way to make static meshes linked together work.. One my my fav props in poser was a set of dynamic necklaces and they draped great without any deforming of the mesh

Because you can simulate rigid meshes and use gravity on them in Poser. You can't in dforce (yet) ;). Or at least that I know of.

Sounds good — I've been wanting this sort of ability in a render as well.

Although, if it's going to be a dForce feature, it'll have to wait until I can afford a dForce-capable computer...
