It's on the read me page http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/read_me/index/51899/start , according to the file list it's also available in /Props/The Bass/ through a script that will appear in the content pane.

OK.... there should be an icon "z. The Bass Tips Readme" ( as shown above) right beside The Bass if you use Content Library.

At Smart Content it's at "Documents".

Doubleclick should open the according PDF. No need to load it into IDE or anything else.

If it doesn't work, here it is:

I opened the PDF from the icon in Smart Content under Documents. Then I saved the PDF on my desktop so I could open it easily. I really like the guitar, but the strap is difficult to work with. It looks okay from the front, once I got it stretched up to cover my figure's shounder, but it's embedded in his back. I guess the strap takes some work to get it fitted to the character's body. It looks really nice, though.

I'm glad you like it. :)

And yes, the strap is a bit work to set up. Just see it as part of the figure pose. You don't do a nice figure pose in minutes either. It takes time until everything looks right.

And it doesn't work like a jacket, fit and go.

But as it is set up, it is very versatile and should make you able to achieve many poses from "bass right under the breast" to "bass down to the knees".

But I can tell you, it's way more work to get the arms, hands and finger in the right position for a guitar playing pose to look good, than posing the strap... ;)

If you are using one of the included poses on a custom figure and it doesn't fit you can first try the different scale settings in the poses folder (real word vs figure scale) to see what fits better ... especially on downscaled figures like Sakura or Teen Josie.

If you do a custom pose you should first dress your figure and bring The Bass itself (Body bone) into position and do the posing of the figures arms, etc...  (you can hide the strap while doing this).

Than start posing the strap with bone 01. You can easily click on them in the scene view with univeral tool or node selecion tool, whatever... or select them in the scene tab. The Bass is parented to "Abdomen Lower" of the figure. There you will find them.

Check the x-scales of the bones! You should end up at the shoulder top with bone 10.

So a good way is to first roughly distribute the x scales across bones 01 to 09 so the overall length looks ok.

Bone 01 and 03 (and later 14) should not be scaled. They have the strap locks (01, 14)  or the transmitter (03) attached. So it might look odd if you scale them.

Than start with bend, side-slide and twist bone by bone until you have bone 10 up at the shoulder and the strap doesn't intersect with the clothing or the figure.

Pose and x-scale bone 10 and then work your way down so the strap lock reaches the bass the same way you did at the back.

If you have minor pokethroughs you can still use the incuded morphs (shaping tab, when The Bass is selected) to make adjustments. They won't influence where the strap ends of course.

If you have further questions, feel free to ask...

    Kind regards, Eagle99
