Just want to say thanks for dForce

I've been mostly away from 3D for almost a year, but I still keep up with what's going on here and buy things from time to time. During the March Madness sale, I bought some dForce presets and made my first real test using the dynamic engine this afternoon. While I don't really know what any of the adjustment settings do or how to simulate complex clothing, I'm really impressed with how good a job it does using the basic settings. This may be a very late thanks considering when dForce was first released, but I did want to say thanks for including this extremely useful system with Studio. This will really make a difference in the overall quality of renders created with Studio and hopefully better establish this program and our community within the larger 3D universe.

G3 with Medieval Dress. Thanks again.

I agree. Was the big thing I missed from Poser since I used so much dynamic cloth there. So far my experiences with dForce have been mostly good. I think I had one thing explode on me so far, but some fiddling with the pose and the settings fixed that ;). I'm sure it'll get better with time.

I haven't really purchased or used much dforce clothing. Still prefer my workflow with the dynamic plugin from rendo. but the new hair from littlefox is a game changer and if more like that comes out I'll be using dforce a whole lot more.

I LOVE dForce and add my thanks to Daz for including it (for FREE even!) with Daz Studio! It's an incredible feature!

I've been experimenting with weight maps and dForce on hair:

I think dForce has a LOT of potential and I'm so excited to see what farther advancements and products will be made from it! :)

I too am happy with dForce, I just wish it could have been used to prevent the breast hugging effect better. (Yes i know there is a tutorial out there, but i mean a more easier way) But i believe the problem there has to do with weight (not a 100% sure on the how and why). But dForce is a great addition to Daz

Same here I remain on 4.8  however I render in other programs so my optitex cloth sims are exported where I can give then non destructive edge thickness, something I see lacking in most Dforce renders made
    within studio.

Aaaaaand I haven't had a single bit of luck with dForce since starting this thread. :sigh:  Oh well, still thankful we're making progress overall and adding new features. Now perhaps you guys can give us more general use dForce outfits that artists might find more useful rather than so many of these attractive but oddly specific and unusual designs?  Thanks.  :)
