Does it take care of the JCMs as well? I am wondering how FBMs would work on a fused figure?

On a similar line of thought, I am wondering if this could be used to apply FBMs partially (i.e. as v)? EDIT: It seems it does only at the pre-defined regions. Also a suggestion that the torso could have been split into upper and lower halves to make the likes of Popeye/Bluto.

Does it support multiple FBMs simultaneously (one for each body part)? Is it possible to apply different FBMs iteratively (like multi-pass)?

Select a only morph, anybody (PBM, FBM), and you can extract the part that interests you with Easy (head, torso, Arms, Legs), by material, Bones, Cutting Plane, Weight Map, and save the Morph.
Now select another morph or the same, and choose another method, and save.
Finally you can mix the 2 or more morphs that you have already created.
Cutting Plane: through a plane you can move and rotate (vertical, horizontal,0-360°), which allows you to practically cut the Morph where you want.
Or you also have the option of the weight Map.

The product looks great.  I hope you will have a video to show what you mean in the above for those of us who are not as savvy/knowledgeable.  It sounds a little complicated to me, but a video or some form of step by step instruction would likely clear it up.

Yes, I will make different videos.

    For Asymmetry,

There were two important considerations when designing the product, which is really simple to use and at the same time extremely versatile and advanced.

How well does clothing fit to the modified body after posing? Can you show some examples of clothed and posed figures, please? I'm concerned about the lack of JCMs.

It uses "Adjust Rigging to shape" technology for the new morph created, and auto-Follow for clothes. Any particular pose?

Make the Girl of your Dreams or the Monster of your Nightmares

In some parts there are problems with the eyes, but this is solved by processing all the separate parts such as eyeballs or Jaw. Although this is a bit slower. As shown at the end of the video.

Is it possible for you to use non-linear falloff for the smoothing? I think your blending would look buch better with an s-curve.

You're right, I'll see if I can implement it.

Yes, the questions of the users help me a lot. I am writing everything. I had not considered some aspects. JCM, asymmetry,Derived figures,  HD morphs.

Yes, when using the tool, it is exactly what I remembered.

Based on images alone I am not really sure but it does look like something I would buy.  Does it exagerate different body parts?  Melt them?  And create pov perspective?  I'm not sure... I just know it looks fun and like a need to own item.

  • CGI3DMCGI3DM Posts: 279

I think it's also fun, mixing with the morphs. Make crazy combinations. Only with the "Abominable" I have been able to make a great variety of characters. Strong men like Popeye / Bluto, Monsters of different types, some really ridiculous. It is an essential product for DAZ users.

Also, they have always asked for it for years.
    https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/14109/any-way-to-restricting-an-full-body-morph-to-not-affect-all-body-parts

I would have to search well, but I have not seen any program that makes it as simple as this in any other software.

Does it exagerate different body parts?yes. Essential requirement, to have another morph.

Melt them? Mix several morphs. yes.

    pov perspective?What do you mean?

You already had the chance to see the video?

I had not seen the video. Thanks for posting it.  This looks like such a fun and practical product.  I can’t wait for it to be released and could have really used it last year. Will we be able to enlarge or distort parts of props and clothing too?

  • freni-kynfreni-kyn Posts: 394

By POV I meant a gradual lessening of a body part in order to create exaggerated point of view images.

Yes, you can gradually decrease the area (10 cm by default, but you can change it) that separate the morph. But I would always need a morph.

The clothes adapt to the character.

Props ?, If the prop has morphs, you can mix your own morphs. The tool by itself does not distort, the tool separates in parts the morphs that you have.

    Hello

Once they install a product (script) as they would expect to access this tool.
From the menu, or a toolbar, or search for the tool from the smart content?

    Thanks for your comments

Interesting question. My script drop down doesn't have folders in it like yours does (character, tools, testing). Would be interested in how you achieved this. I also don't think many even know that shortcut exists to scripts from forum posts I have read. Should probably be left up to users to add to the scripts drop down.

As for "intelligent content", I assume you mean smart content and I never use it, so no idea how it works. I usually just go to the content library tab, daz studio formats -  studio - scripts.

Window>Workspace>Customise, in the Menus tab you can expand the Main Menu entry, then Scripts, then right-click to create sub-menus and drag-and-drop to arrange the scripts.

Thanks for the clarification. For years I was not interested in Smart Content, but when I found out how it worked, it's a very useful way to access poses, hair, material, clothes, presets. The more content you have the more useful it becomes. And you save a lot of time in searches

The video above uses Genesis 1, and other sample pics use G8F, so I'd say yes ;)

Designed for the entire Genesis family (2,3,8, Ollie 8, Aiko 8, Victoria 8).
Everything that has a morph, you can divide and then mix, either clothes or prop.
and may even work in a limited way for other types of figures.
What you can not do is transfer morphs between figures, Genesis 3 to Genesis 8.
