Bar Interior 2018 Question

I noticed that it says this,

What's Included

  • Bar Interior 2018
  • Stand-alone Iray update plus 3 new texture looks (.DUF, .CR2, .OBJ)

There is no CR2 or OBJ's included in the download for this,

Im I not understanding this or something?

Why are they missing?

Thanks frown

So you were looking for specific file tipes? Those are poser files arent they? Sorry, I  totally misunderstood.

Yes, But I actually wanted to pull it into the Vue Program but I made a little discovery,

The OBJ and CR2 files are not in the Bar Interior 2018 but they are in the Bar Interior which is a separate item to purchase.

I purchased the 2018 version and did not own the first version. I went back and purchased the first version and they were there.

Im not sure now if I will use it in the Vue program since I did a render of the 2018 version and saw the results. The results just blew me away. The lighting and reflections were so outstanding and I zoomed in on a few glasses and bottles in the scene and the reflections and light passing through them just amazed me. Textures of walls and items behind passing through just looked so, so realistic. I was stunned. they looked just so real.  The creator of this Bar interior 2018 seems to have mastered it and I am so, so happy with it. Anyway, Thanks wink

The old version has been one of my favorite interior props ever. I'm glad to hear that the Iray version is so nice since I have yet to use it ;).

Bar Interior 2018 is a native DAZ Studio format, and the geometry is in dsf files, not the cr2/obj Poser format. You could have exported it from Studio as .obj.

  • Apologies for the delay.. I've corrected the whats included list.  If you wish to have access to the native Poser files, then purchase the original Bar Interior product.  If you've purchased the 2018 version in error, then please file a ticket with CS and they'll get that sorted for you.

    Thanks!

I went back and purchased the Original Bar interior, I like having both version's, The Renders of the 2018 version in Iray are outstanding. Thanks

One of my favorite sets. Happy to see it in Iray...  I've spent many hours trying to custom Iray material all the bits and bobs, but was never really happy with my results.

Disclaimer...  That render was done using the original set and rendered with Reality / Luxrender. I haven't had a chance to try out the same scene in Iray.
